      I was looking for a "doll" that didn't make the boys feel like they were playing with "girls" toys. ( Their words). The Barbie/Ken line is the way to go. They are large enough, interesting enough to be played with for ages 5-12 and sturdy enough to take their rougher play.

            This is a nice doll, but it doesn't get much more basic. Comes dressed in swim trunks, and a sleeveless tshirt that opens and closes in the back with velcro. No shoes. A pair of sunglasses are the only accessories that come with him. No body joints. All of this is pretty much viewable in the picture. He does not twist at the waist, which seems pretty below average at this point, but for this cheap, it's hard to complain. Better looking than your average Ken doll, too. Shows his teeth when he smiles. For any other Barbie dorks, he has the same head mold as the King Dominick and Handsome Groom dolls.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
