I received this as a gift and would definitely NOT have bought it myself. The styling and color is a little bright for me for something so large that doesn't fold, but that's really a matter of preference. I gave it three stars because now that I see the price, I wouldn't have expected much more. It came completely disassembled with a bunch of annoying plastic connecting sticks that you have to pull off. I only mention that because it's impossible to make clean breaks of those connectors, and that leaves sharp little chards of plastic on the toy. This is for young children, after all, and that was unacceptable. That said, they can be filed down, as others have noted. As far as assembly time, it took my husband about 10-15 minutes. Not that annoying. You only have to do it once.In my daughter's (21 months old, very gentle with toys) first time playing with it I noticed that the wheels don't all spin - they are just plastic stuck on to plastic nubs and probably need to be tinkered with to get them to spin. Not a huge deal, but not great. They also don't turn so your child will have to lift it slightly to adjust direction. That wouldn't be a problem except that as others have mentioned, the cradle part of it is not attached, so when she did that, the cradle fell out. It does not snap into place at all - it's just sitting on the reclined seat. Any moderate play (regardless of direction change) will cause it to fall. Noticing her frustration after five minutes of playing with it, I took the cradle away and had her put a larger doll in it in the seated position. That created a new issue with the turning - when she lifted to turn it the seat fell from upright to reclining, causing the doll to fall out. Perhaps there's a doll specifically made for this? Oh, and another thing - we had to use it with two dolls. A doll that is large enough to sit in the seat and not slide out of the strap is far too big to sit in the cradle. Perhaps that was intentional to simulate the growth of a child, but I'm not sure all parents have several sizes of dolls for their toddlers. It does appear to be sturdy, for what that's worth. In my opinion, you have to really compromise your sense of quality to love this toy. I'd save up for something nicer.

Comments about American Plastic Toys 1001605 You & Me On The Go Doll Stroller:
This stroller was not only hard to put together with way too many screws and confusing directions, but it is also frustrating to the children as it does not fit together properly. The baby basket falls off routinely and the wheels don't really roll. Not a good choice.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

You get what you pay for
I got this for my granddaughter for Christmas. The problem is that at least one wheel will not rotate. I like the colors, like the idea of made in America, but wish it were better made.

THIS IS NOT MADE WELL AT ALL.I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER LAST CHRISTMAS AND AM HAVING TO BUY HER A NEW STROLLER THIS CHRISTMAS. MY DAUGHTER GETS SO FRUSTRATED BECAUSE THE BABY DOESNT STAY IN THE STROLLER. IT FALLS APART AND I'M CONSTANTLY PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER. I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Lasts, but pain to put together
By Shey_n_Liliths Mommy
My sister bought this for my 1 1/2 yr old daughter for X-Mas, it was a slight pain to put together, but we just filed down the rough edges and it hasn't been a problem. We've had it for almost 2 yrs and its still holding up very well, I caught my 7 yr old son sitting in it the other day and its still holding up. Only problem I've seen is that sometimes the basket falls out of the top, but my daughter just uses it as an extra cradle when it does. Its worth the money you get and if you have children who like to play rough this will last.
