I was so excited to get this for my third child. I put it together, put fresh batteries in it and it only would turn on for 10 second incriments. I would literally have to stand there and push the button over and over which defeats the purpose of having the mobile! She really seems to be interested in it in the 10 seconds it's on, but I'll never know for how long as it doesn't stay on! Extremely unhappy.

I did a lot of research on mobiles as many are battery operated and shut off after 5 minutes. Then you have to sneak in, hopefully unheard or seen, to click it on again defeating the purpose of the mobile.

This one was exactly what I was looking for. It is a mobile AND has projection. It is battery operated, but doesn't seem to eat away the batteries at all (haven't changed it yet - LO is now 4 months old). The remote feature is my favorite part - I hang it on his door knob and I can turn it on or off with my quick push. I can leave the settings I've chosen (loud, classical music with the mobile and projection turning)and turn it off and on with one click of that remote. If I need to, I can carry it throughout the house and click it periodically to make sure it's still going without interupting my LO's playtime.

We have a crib that has some design to the wood, so it was a little difficult to get attached but once we did, it hasn't budged and is super safe.

We LOVE this thing and so does our son!!! He talks to it and he gets mad when taken away from it before he is ready.

This is a wonderful toy. My daughter is 4 months old and we have been using this for the last month or so. She got it as an early Christmas present from her Aunties. She used to fight me when she would go down for bed. Now that I use this. I put her down and turn it on... and instantly she stops squirming and fighting me to go to bed. She loves to look at the movement, the light and the sound. All things that she is doing at this stage. There is a timer on it... and the way it works is fantastic. First the light turns off..... about 15 - 30 seconds later the mobile stops spinning... and about 30 seconds after that the music fades away. It does not suddenly stop like I thought it might. She falls asleep with it almost every night and just loves it.

I also use it as a distraction while I am getting ready for work. A must have really.

This was a last minute buy because my husband and I couldn't think of a themed room for our baby. We didn't find out the gender until birth. The baby LOVES this mobile. When she fusses, I just set her in the crib and turn the mobile on. Instantly she stops. The lighted part was a bit much for her, but at only two months I can understand. I think she'll enjoy the lighted part later. The music is fun and the heartbeat sound is perfect for nights she doesn't want to fall asleep. It's very soothing. So glad I saw this last minute!!!

I got this at my baby shower well over 2 years ago now and it has been the one thing we couldn't live without. It has grown with our now toddler and he loves it. We took the canopy off so now it just projects onto his ceiling. After learning to stand on his own, my son quickly learned to turn the mobile on himself if he needs it in the night. Just last night I heard him turn it on around 3 am (he didn't call for Mom and Dad until 8 am!). It runs for 20 minutes, which is key because it allows time to entertain and soothe before drifting off to sleep. We pack it with us on every vacation (takes up some room but totally worth it). I initially thought it was too expensive but now I'm recommending it to all my friends since we've happily used it for 2 years and have no plans to stop anytime soon!

I was excited about this item as the advertised pictures are really cute and the reviews for it seem mostly positive. However, after receiving this as a baby shower gift and removing it from the package to assemble, the parts just seem kind of cheapy (esp the canopy). The music/sounds is nice but the audio is barely audible at the lowest setting. I was also extremely disappointed at the "projection" image; not AT ALL what is displayed in the pictures or on the package. The picture is so fuzzy and light that I cannot even tell what the image is supposed to be~ Very unhappy about that! The canopy also does not rotate unless I manually rotate it; which other people seem to have an issue with as well, while others it did move for. So I'm not sure what the problem is there. I guess I was just expecting more from this product considering the pretty hefty price tag. I'm planning on returning it and purchasing something else; which honestly is a bummer because I did spend a lot of time researching and looking into crib mobiles before deciding on this one, only to be less than thrilled with the actual product. Luckily I still have two weeks left before baby gets here to find something else.

I got this for my daughter when she was an infant and still use it as a projector now that she is 2. The projector lasts for about 15 mn and the music lasts for about 20min. If it turns off before my daughter is asleep she crawls to the end of her bed and turns it back on. Prior to her being able to turn it on herself I could do it via the remote control. At first I thought the fact it ran on betteries was going to be a problem, but, they last a LONG time (she DJs on it a lot!) and during power outages I am EXTREMELY thankful it runs on batteries! I love this projector sooo much and plan to buy it for my second daughter after she is born! A must have!!!!!!

my baby loves it. great item. she could spend time watching it. I had one of these other ones before but having to turn the thing over and over agin i went crazy and bought this one with the remote. I turn it on and off when i want to.love that it has music, forests sounds and heart sound. she falls asleep quietly. love it.

My oldest daughter loved this as an infant and still uses it at 3 years old as projector light before she falls asleep. Love how it converts from mobile to projector as they get older. Music lasts about 15 min, which is about what most mobiles last. The remote allows you to start it up again without entering the room. Music is nice and soothing.
