The Fisher-Price Precious Planet Open-Top Cradle 'n Swing is a versatile swing with a whimsical design. With a turn of the seat, you can soothe baby with 2 different ways to swing: a side-to-side cradle-like motion or a head-to-toe swinging motion. 6 swing speeds, 12 songs (6 soothing, 6 playful) and nature sounds plus 3 different seat positions offer baby even more variety, while the motorized mobile spins overhead to entertain. When it's time to take baby out, the mobile and tray swing away for easy access to baby. The Precious Planet Open-Top Cradle 'n Swing also folds for easy storage.

Features


Adorable design

The Precious Planet Open-Top Cradle 'n Swing features a comfortable seat with a whimsical baby animal design. The polar bear cradles baby and offers head support for newborns. The snack tray can be opened with 1 hand so it's easy to place baby in the seat and lift him or her out.


2 swinging motions

Set the swing to move side to side or front to back to give your baby the soothing motion he or she desires. Changing the direction is literally a snap with the Precious Planet Open-Top Cradle 'n Swing. Just turn the seat 90 degrees until it snaps into place. Baby can face any of 3 directions, so you never have to be out of sight. The seat back also has 2 reclining positions to accommodate your baby's needs.


Motorized mobile

The Cradle 'n Swing mobile swings away so it's easy to get to baby. When baby is securely in the seat, turn on the motorized mobile so he or she can watch the Precious Planet friends spin overhead, enhancing visual tracking skills in the process.


Music and sounds

Customize your baby's Cradle 'n Swing experience. Choose from 12 songs, including 6 soothing and 6 playful, and nature sound effects to stimulate baby's auditory skills. The Precious Planet Open-Top Cradle 'n Swing also features 6 swing speeds so you can choose the settings that are just right for your baby.

Well i will start out by saying that the swing is colorful and holds my 3 mo. daughters attention pretty well. The swing also doesnt take up to much room when either folded up or open ready to swing. The really unfortunate and down fall to this product is i have to replace the batteries in it about every day or two. Mind you that my daughter takes her naps in the swing, about 2-3 hrs at a time. I would not recomend this product to anybody.

I use this swing pretty much every day and have to replace the batteries every day as well. I put my daughter in it for naps, so she is in it at most 3 hours each day. If we hadn't gotten rid of the box I would return it, but it looks like we are stuck with it. My 2-month old does like all the colors and the animals on it and once the swing is going, likes the motion.

My 3 month old son loves the swing. The mobile keeps his attention much longer than I expected. He only likes the back and forth motion instead of side to side, so I am thankful that it does both. This product did take some time to assemble and you have to read the directions very carefully!

This swing has a great little mobile, but that is where the fun stops. It does not swing on its own. You have to push start it and even then it usually does not swing. I am very disappointed because I have had such great luck with other Fisher-Price products.

My daughter loves the mobile and it occupies her while a get a few things done around the house. I saw that some had problems with the motor...but this swing has worked perfectly for me. My daughter is 3 months now and it swings perfectly, nothing has broke on it. It's absolutely fabulous!

We got this swing when my son was 1 month old & it worked ok but now that he's 5 months & 20lbs i actually have to push it or it doesnt swing.. I have'nt changed batteries since i first got it but my son can only stay there for 30 mi. I have to admit it was some what a waste of money...

This swing worked well for our 10 lb baby from the time we brought him home. It reclined enough that he could sit in it as a newborn, but also sat up enough as he got a little older so that he could keep an eye on the rest of the family (usually during meal times!) We only had to replace the batteries 3 or 4 times over the course of 5 months of almost daily use! The 'snack' tray is really quite useless - what baby really needs a snack tray? But it was helpful to keep his blanket tucked around his legs. The mobile is cute and worked great - the sounds are also cute without being over the top. We usually had to give the swing a gentle push to get it going, but then it would catch up with the swinging mechanism and take off on its own. Easy to clean - easy to store.

Overall - a good buy for the money!
