I bought two of these for Christmas for my 2 boys! If they were $5 each, I wouldnt be mad, but at [$] each, I am mad! If you leave the toy on, which is very easy to do because it has a dial on the side that controls if it is on/off, it depletes the batteries by the morning. The volume is so low, you cant even hear your voice when you speak into it. It is a useless toy.

bought this for my 1 year old grandson because he loves sponge bob and loves music. althought the baby loves it when we all sing along to the songs. they have nothing to do with spongebob and are old songs, "she'll be coming round the mountain", "take me out to the ballgame", "when the saints come marching" and all are kinda at a slow tempo. You would think songs for children would be more peppy and fun. Never the less, the baby does like it.

      I bought it for my 2-year-old son. He liked it but it was diappointing to see it worked just for one day. I'm going to take it back to the store and maybe get some other brand because my son was so disappointed. He never hit the microphone at all.

      Bought the microphone at a Toys R Us store along with brand new batteries. Installed the batteries and the microphone did not work! Very aggrivating to have to drive 40 mins round trip just to return this piece of junk!!! Will not be exchanging for the same item

          Why this product has SpongeBob on it is beyond me. It doesn't have one song related to SpongeBob and the quality is awful. The songs, while being common OLD SCHOOL kids' songs, are even difficult to recognize. The music quality is poor, the microphone quality is poor and it's just not worth the price. Obviously, someone used the SpongeBob character to cash in which really aggravates me.

              We bought this mic for our son who Loves Spongebob, especially the theme song. This mic plays only 6 MELODIES and not the one thing my son was looking forward to sing which was the theme song... Not even on the box - does it say which "songs" it plays. I'm better off buying a plain mic and add spongebob stickers on it!!
