Use it in my 2000 VW Jetta Turbo. I have Monsoon speakers and the sound quality is awesome. No feedback and the treble is not too bad. This is a great value for me since I don't plan on buying a new car for at least 18 months and don't want to invest in a new car stereo deck. Monster brand was highly recommended by department store associate (an audiophile) who sold it to me. I've had it 2 weeks and so far, no problems.

Worked fine for the first week. Then the left channel started getting quieter and quieter until only the speakers on the right play any sound. After about a month sound quality started depreciating quickly and now to get it to sound halfway decent you have to hold the cord at a specific angle or else the sound cuts out completely.

Buy a different cassette adapter and stay away from this one.

I like this product for every day driving, makes trips less dull. the adapter has no shortfalls with me, but the wonderfull stock speakers in the ranger hold back my cassetes full potential. over all it was a great buy on my part, just need better speakers.

Only plays out of one speaker. Took it apart per the review discussing auto reverse decks. Still didn't work. Adjusted the cable so I could insert it the opposite direction thereby reversing the head connection. Still only 1/2 stereo. Terrible product.

I got this because other cassette adapters only last about 6-8 months so I figured Monster would last longer and have better quality, more so because of the price. I bought it and set it up for my Blazer (the flip top for the cord was nice compared to other brands screw tops) But as soon as I started to listen I noticed that bass was lacking greatly, curious I swaped back to my old adapter and got my bass back. Adjusting to balance helps out but lowers to overall quality of the music. I will not be keeping this adapter.

The Cassette would eject immediately after insertion. I read through the Reviews and found one related to Auto Reverse Decks "Needs alteration for auto-reverse decks". It said that you must take apart the cassette and remove the Reversing Gear. (It is the one with the rubber ring on it.) Once I did this it works in my Auto Reverse Deck.

This product is not worth the money it works for about a week then starts switching back and forth flipping the tape. After taking apart the product and putting it back together I've determined that the root of the problem is the cog that is on the slide track at the bottom of the tape near the cassette head. Over all poor engineering.

i bought it at [@] for [$]. it was the highest priced one there at [$] but still not to bad.i read the other reviews and am very disapointed by them because there will always be broken products and conection issues with items like this and anyone buying something like this should alredy know that. so i say its really not the companys fault it didnt work rite in your car and if it doesnt just return it and try agin. with a different copy/brand

I bought this for my 2004 Tiburon stock Infinity deck. I put it in and the first one would only play through the right channel. By adjusting the balance and volume I could get mediocre sound, but the hum was just too much. I took it back and switched it out for a duplicate. So far it is working.

It sounds great if you turn up the ipod to full and tone down the deck volume. Doing this lowers the hum greatly. I hope it lasts because this is take two on this within three hours of original purchase. It is my first Monster product so I hope it does not let me down.

My 2 star rating is due to the fact I had to immediately replace it.

First off the price. I purchased this product from a local big-box retailer for less than the price on the website. Bargin? I guess. and for that price, you would think that the product would not have any problems and they worked out any glitches with any stereo system. I understand that everything is different, however, through testing the product, it should have been noted on the PACKAGING that the product was incompattible with certain makes and models of vehicles and some products. I am disappointed with the lack of product packageing labeling.

Product did not work in my 2005 Ford Taurus. Product caused cassette player to skip from side one to side two and then stopped working altogether. It caused an error message to appear on my display screen.
