This crib is beautiful. We received all the pieces in the package in perfect condition. Assembly took about an hour and a half for my husband and his sister.

We went with this crib because of its combined style and practicality. I love that this can be my son's bed for MANY years beyond infancy. For the price of the crib, conversion kits, and eventually a full mattress, I think that this option is more financially beneficial against seperately purchasing a standard crib, a toddler bed, and eventually a twin or full with the equivalent of this style. It really is aesthetically pleasing.

AND for the price, you get the added changing table. I love that the attached changing table can eventually be used as a night stand or side dresser. The drawers are HUGE! and those back shelves are pretty handy, however, I must disclose that there is no backing for those back shelves, which is both good and bad. Whatever you end up decided to store there could have the potential of just falling off in back. I have a ton of diapers, baby wipes, and diaper genie refills stored in there right now and they kind of overfill it a little and I wouldn't be able to shove as much in there if it had the backing. The way the shelves are positioned on the crib is great too. Its very discrete and no one can see the way I have it overflowing with toiletries. Its great.

Having this crib can put a damper on plans to use a crib bumper. Because of the one solid end where the changing table is attached, bumpers don't look quite right in the crib. So we are just going without, since the baby books emphasize that a bumper is not necessary.

The cherry is chic, rich, clean, and simple. I really think this will be a versatile style for whatever decorative phases we may go through in the coming years, whether it be ninja turtles or tools, or whatever.

Based on the reviews I've read on other convertible cribs, we made the decision to purchase the conversion kits now and just keep them stored until needed. Apparently these cribs are discontinued all the time and if you try to track down the conversion kits a few years down the line, you may not find it... However, Sorelle makes generic conversion kits that fit any model of their convertible cribs as long as you know where your crib was made (Brazil or China), because the manufacturers make the models slightly differently. I've seen the conversion kits online at wayfair.com for each so just pay attention to that. The manual that came with the crib clearly states "Made in China" or "Made in Brazil". I ordered the toddler conversion kit from Babies R' US, but for some reason the full bed conversion is not available, so I'm ordering it from wayfair.

Good luck making your decision... I know it was hard for me, but I'm very pleased with our choice.

the reviews about this crib that have high ratings reflect how great the crib is. it is pretty, good quality, and sturdy. however, all of the pictures shown about the convertability of it are bogus. first of all, the toddler rail shown is NOT the toddler rail sold nor produced by sorelle. it's much flimsier and smaller. AND the instruction manual does not show you how to convert the bed at all, read it online now to see for yourself. i have had to contact the company a few times for questions regarding these matters, and they have the slowest response, rudest customer service, and just horrible service in general. i wish i had not wasted my money on this terrible product. DON'T DO IT!!!!

This was purchased has a gift and they absolutely are very pleased with the quality of the product. The new parents feel that it will last a long time and the new baby will have many years of using it. He did say that it had numerous parts to put together and does take a great deal of time, but it was well constructed. Looking forward to the visit to be able to see it.

The Crib is beautiful and very sturdy. I loved the attached drawers and open shelves in back. My son is now two and he climbs very easily out of it. The crib is just too high. It is set at it's lowest level and it's too high. Obviously we are now going to convert it, but I would have rather not have to worry about converting because of it being high. So if you tend to be very tall in stature, this is not the crib for you or you will be converting it when your baby is 1. Keep looking. Overall it is nice, that is the only thing I would have changed.

This looks like a lovely crib, and I love the cherry stain. It is not "too red" for me, as others have noted in their reviews. However, we have no idea how well it will work because it arrived damaged. The box was full of holes when it arrived at the house, and when we opened the crib to put it together, we discovered a large crack in the side. When I called, I was informed that it is impossible to simply get one replacement part, and instead we have to return the entire crib and reorder it. To make matters worse, Babies R Us does not have the crib in stock anymore, so we have to wait, potentially weeks, to receive our replacement crib. Meanwhile, I'm getting closer and closer to my due date and would like to have the crib ready for our little one! I hope to be able to post an actual review of this crib someday, but alas, all I can comment on right now is poor customer service and substandard shipping practices.

I bought this bed for my new grandchild, I picked it for durability and for the changing table,that
came with it. When it came to the assembly of the
crib the instructions and all the parts were easy to put together, I was able to do this by myself
so dont be worried if you dont have any help. All
the tools you need come with it. I highly recommend this crib, its sturdy and no matter how big your child is it will last them quite a while.
