After reading some of these reviews I can only assume many of these parents have never diapered a baby before. My son had no fat on him, in fact it was only recently (3mos) that he started to develop some chub. These diapers fit great and we never had a leak, it's the only brand we buy. My son used both these and the Pampers in the NICU and we were sent home with some Pampers- they were horrible. It didn't matter how often we changed them the Pampers stuck horribly to my poor sons bottom. He would scream in pain as we tried to pull it off, even for just pee. The Huggies don't do that, and that's reason alone for me to love them.

These diapers were used at the hospital in the NICU for my granddaughter...bought more when she got home. they are the perfect preemie diaper.

all i can say is these are absolutly a waste of time and money. You mightr as well not even put a diaper on. The straps to told the diapers on are to long so they dont fits well and the leg cutouts are way too big. Also the imbillical cord cutout goes way above my baby girls belly button. I bought some pampers and WOW what a difference. Just fold the top portion of the pampers down a little and you have an excellent preemie diaper.

I am wondering if everyone is properly attaching the diapers on their preemies. It takes a little bit of fitting bc of their smaller frame and dimensions. Have yet to have a single issue with Huggies and I love the wetness indicator.

I bought these diapers and the hospital provided some premie pampers for my boys that were born 5lb 12 oz and 6 lb 6 oz. Technically, they are on the larger side, but they lost a lot of weight after they were born. These diapers are just too big for them. The pampers fit much better. These Huggies virtually fall off of them around the waist, which is too wide for them. Hopefully we can use these after they gain a bit more weight.

These Huggies diapers, being a preemie size: the package stating that it fits up to 6 lbs, were a terrible fit/too large for my 4lb 9oz preemie baby. I was told that Huggies are a great brand in any other size. PAMPERS PREEMIE diapers are the only ones that really work with a small/preemie baby!

Horrible Fit on my 5 pound son; left marks on his legs from attempts to adjust the sides to fit without being wide open for leaks. The velcro tab design on these diapers and the general wide fit drives me nuts. We received these diapers as a shower gift and I'm trying not to be wasteful, but even Luvs has outperformed these diapers. In my opinion, the Pampers premie pack or the Luvs newborn pack are better diapers - at least my child will be dry and not left with red/pink marks from the diaper...

My preemie was a little over 4 lbs. The hospital provided Pampers. Now I see why. I learned that the Huggies brand is better suited for wider babies. My baby had skinny legs so no matter if he was lying down or being held, wafterfalls were coming out instead of staying in. It's a shame because I love the indicator line. Maybe when he's bigger and wider I may try again, but it almost doesn't seem worth the risk.

My son was 10 weeks early. He was in the NICU for over a month. They sent us home with pampers preemie and they were awesome but super expensive. So we switched to huggies preemie. They are really good. The only complaint we have is that they don't have the elastic in the back so its an awkward fit. But over all they were worth the money. But I think we're going to switch to the newborn because they're the same size basically with the elastic.

The NICU used Pampers for my baby, but I seemed to get quite a few Huggies at my baby shower. I assumed both Preemie brands would do the job.

The Huggies did not fit my almost 4lb daughter's legs (would almost always leak and at it's worst, I'd end up with a dry diaper and wetness all over her clothing, bedding, etc.) I do like the stretch tabs, but that couldn't make up for all the constant laundry due to leakage.

Once she gained some weight on her legs and was up to 6lbs, thought I'd try them again. Wished I wouldn't never opened a new package. Three out of the first 4 diapers worn all leaked.

I am back to Pampers Swaddlers for Preemies again and doubt I'll go back to Huggies.

NOTE: My daughter is long and so her legs (especially at 4 lbs were very thin). She also sleeps on her side. I think both of these facts may contribute to the leaking.
