    My granddaughter found her mother's Barbie doll from the 70's. She needed some new clothing. The wedding outfit is attractive, but the flimsy straps on the gown broke off while getting it out of the packaging. Perhaps it was meant to be strapless, but the gown does NOT cover the doll's breast and is hard to fasten, even with the Velcro. Also, the veil is hard to attach to the doll's head. Maybe the gown will fit the newer Barbies. It's not right for the one we have.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        I recently introduced Barbie to my 3 year old granddaughter, one for her and one for me. She loved the Barbie wedding dress. As a matter of fact, I have to buy another wedding dress for my Barbie and two Princes so they can get married. The dress is of wonderful quality. My only comment is the band that goes around the veil, nervous that eventually it will break and Isabella won't have a way of getting it on Barbie's head.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            The dress is very nice, good material, but the veil had a cheap rubber band to put it on and it broke right away. We ended up using hairbands to put it on.
