Product Description

The follow-up to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne in his continuing war on crime. With the help of Lt. Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves effective, but soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker, who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces Batman closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante. Heath Ledger stars as archvillain The Joker, and Aaron Eckhart plays Dent. Maggie Gyllenhaal joins the cast as Rachel Dawes. Returning from Batman Begins are Gary Oldman as Gordon, Michael Caine as Alfred and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox.

Comments about Warner Home Video Batman The Dark Knight DVD - Widescreen:

A long time ago i watched batman begins with my dad. Now the movie was entertaining and it was pretty dark but along that came a new film called The Dark Knight, I was pretty certain that i was going to handle this and i did and have enjoyed seeing it.

The Dark Knight is not only a film that i enjoyed but also because of the acting. Maggie Gyllenhal replaced Katie Holmes because she was more talented here. Morgan Freeman returns as Lucius Fox and his role was important here too. Christian Bale as both Batman and Bruce Wayne, And Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent and Two-Face, And even Heath Ledger as The Joker.

Now Heath Ledger's role was excellent in this film as he played the psychotic manic and a clown with no rules. And like he says I'm a man of my word. So he is not like the Jack Nicholson Joker at all. Nolan has brought back The Joker in a more disturbing and psychopathic way to the big screen once more. And The Joker in this film does not play around. He is a lot serious in his role and is more violent then some would expect.

Morgan Freeman's role as Lucuis Fox was just amazing, He was Bruce Wayne's Friend and helped him out in any way he can by building a full armored suit so he can turn his head easily which seemed nice to me.

Maggie Gyllanhal's role was great. As she seemed smarter and did better in the film then Katie Holmes and even acted great in some situations mostly because she was trying to protect Harvey Dent in any way that she could.

Christian Bale's role here is amazing, And he seems to play Bruce Wayne and Batman very well, He returns and does a great job playing as the man behind the mask once again in this film.

Aaron Eckhart's role as both Harvey Dent and Two-Face seems really nice. And he does a great job playing as the new district attorney this time around. Which suits the film nicely.

Dispite that the Film seemed a little violent to me, Because there were a lot of gunfights, Scary situations, And Batman attacking some thugs when they crashed his party. Though the movie is rated Pg-13 it still has some menaceing parts and scenes that will not be sutible for kids. And a lot seems adult.

And it's a must have for anyone who is The Dark Knight fan.
