I researched car seats and used consumer reports to pick a safe purchase. This car seat is great and rates high on safety, however,the straps are very hard to adjust. I hadn't read that in any other reviews, so I am taking it back to the store to see if it is a faulty seat. If not...I will be returning it.

We've just started using this carseat for our 19 month old daughter who is 22 lbs and 29 inches. She is our fourth child, so we have a bit of experience with different seats and I like this one better than those that have cost us more money. We also used this car seat front facing for our four year old son and always had an easy time with it. He was older when we bought it for our second car and never used it rear facing though.

Please note that the instructions for this carseat say that your child must be 34 inches to sit facing forward!!! My 19 month old is on the smaller half of the growth chart at 29 inches, but I can't imagine that any twelve month old (old enough to face forward) is 34 inches tall.

We are using it rear facing, but to get the level line horizontal with our seat, which gives it the recline that other reviewers have complained about (so make sure you check that line!), we had to put the carseat in the middle of the back seat or else have the passenger seat pulled all the way forward in our Dodge Durango SUV. We also had to put part of a swimming noodle under the seat so it would recline enough. It is very snug in there though and installing it was not any different that any other seat we've had. Our daughter has plenty of leg room (another complaint that I've heard about extended-age rear facing).

Please check to make sure your one year olds who are FORWARD facing meet the height requirement to do so in this carseat. They must be 22 lbs AND 34 inches AND one year old to forward face in this seat!

I like the carseat, its cute & cheap, much cheaper at burlington though just for a heads up. about 20$ cheaper. but id def give the green light for this one.

It was easy and safe to assemble. Great direction for height and weight. Looking out for any child to be safe!!!!

I love this seat. We bought it somewhere else but i'm a huge review reader! My husband picked it out for our at the time 8 month old daughter so I came home and read reviews and then we went to buy it. I've not had any trouble with it! I'm a huge safety person. We have an eddie bauer convertible seat too but it wouldn't install rear-facing very well and this one is PERFECT! She's 20 months now and is still able to sit rear-facing! This is the only one out of the 2 we have that will actually install properly rear-facing! Perfect for babies that have outgrown their infant seat and not ready for forward facing. I love the LATCH system makes this seat UNMOVABLE! It has also been washed 30 times in the past year and comes out so easy and goes back in easy too! My daughter loves it! We're able to just pull it out and move the straps if need be! Love it! Would DEF recommend to a friend!

I use it for my 15 month and she just loves it to death now she can see everything just like her big brother and sister. It is so easy to adjust if you need to and easy to use. It was awesome there was NOTHING that i didnt like about it.

I loved the car seat it is very cute for a little girl because of the color. THe problem I first encountered is my daughter can push the chest strap down and then get out of the car seat which is a saftey hazard. I own two along wiht two others and I would recommend the seat to people. THe reclining isn't the best but I used it mainly for forward facing.
