This is not a heirloom jewelry box and should not be expected to be made as such. I think that it is very good quality for [$]! It is a project that doesn't have to be done all at once. It is done kind of like a paint by number, but with stick ons. NO MESS! I will be buying a bunch of these and the other variations to have on hand for a quick gift. Great for kids who may be ill and need to do something in bed.

    The box is made of cardboard, and it doesn't look like it would last long. The "mosaics" are just foam stickers, which don't stay on. If the product doesn't even provide a couple of hours of entertainment to the kid (because she gets frustrated with the tiles falling off immediately) it is not worth keeping it. It is going back to the store.

        My daughter received this for Christmas last year and started designing it right away with her teenage cousins, who also had fun setting it up. We leave it at her grandparents' house, and she spends 5 or 10 minutes of quiet time on it nearly every visit.
        The directions are easy to follow and there's no big mess to clean up, just some scraps of paper from the stickers' backing. The design is cute and it is VERY entertaining for 5-8 year olds! Highly recommend for any girl that loves sparkles and crafts!

                We just got this for my daughters birthday and she was very excited. When we opened it we didn't get the stars and glittery stickers we got two metallic sheets and the rest just plain foam. It was a big let down to have empty star spots and to have to figure out what colors to substitute on the guide. She is having fun putting the plain stickers on but I am disappointed that it we didn't receive the right stickers.
