Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

So cute and stylish, better value than bugaboo. Even though it says up to 50lbs i doubt you'd ever have a 50lb kid in it thats like a 6yr old. Love that it can switch from rear facing to forward facing and it can recline, nice visor, It took a couple times to figure out how to fold it but its the same fold as all the higher end strollers, seat comes off then collapse. Its soo easy to steer and maneuver its like a lexus of strollers. I love mine and would totally recomend it.

Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

We got the Foray when our daughter was 3 months old, and she absolutely loves it! Comfortable for her, she can fall asleep easily, and the reclining options are perfect. Also like the fact that it mounts front or rear facing & is easy to switch around.
From the parent side, it's a dream to push, rolls smoothly, and the handle adjusts high enough for me to use comfortably (I'm 6'0"). The issue is that the rear tires puncture far too easily. It seems that I pull 5 or 6 thorns / needles from each tire after a short walk, and we stay on the sidewalks in the city. I've filled the tubs with slime to allow them to self-seal, but even that does not work anymore. I'd recommend installing a puncture block liner between tire & tube as soon as you can, unless you like fixing flat tires.

Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

I like the stroller but find it difficult to set up. My fingers get pinched each time. It takes practice. It's not as expensive as similar systems. One major complaint is the basket, which interfers with the front wheel steering. I can not put anything in it & even empty, it will cause a problem. I'm hoping the manufacture can help with this.

Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

I have only used it a few times and so far so good. There are some things I don't like about the stroller. The handle bar moves to much, you need two hands to fold, in order to put the break on you have to hold the handle bar so it doesn't move forward. Everything else is great. I currently use the mico carseat with the stroller and it works great for us. The stroller fits great in our car. We will see how it is with the stroller and seat. Good buy for the money.

I haved loved this stoller until now, our son is 17th months and the straps are no longer long enough to secure him. We bought this item thinking it would last at least 3 yrs as it suppose to hold a child up to 50 pounds. There is no way that is posible our son is 27 pounds. Very disappointed.... Now I need to go find a another stroller.

Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

I love my Foray stroller!!! My husband wanted a Bugaboo, but I decided to go with the Foray instead and am very happy with it. My son is four months old so so far we've been using the Maxi-Cosi infant carseat with the stroller.

He absolutely loves it! He takes naps in it all the time.

I love the way it handles and rides...very smooth and looks great. I get tons of compliments all the time.

The one complaint is that the handle doesn't switch from front to back like others.

It is a bit bulky but if you have the room...it is totally worth it!

Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

I love the way the stroller handles but well before the warranty was up the brake broke. We've been trying since July to get it fixed. [...]SO, basically I've got a very expensive useless stroller. There is no snack tray, and the parent cup holder is flimsy. I also don't like the starage basket, it's fairly smalland the padding on the handle split. I LOVE the look of it and I wish I could get it fixed. I'm extremely frustrated by the whole situation and looking for a new stroller.

Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

This is a great stroller! My husband was dead set on getting the bugaboo stroller. We got it and I hated it. It was so hard to use and figure out and was too bulky. We sold it and got this stroller.
It pushes great, looks nice, is well made and I get lots of compliments on it.
I was super easy to put together, however, it is a little hard to fold up and is bulky. If you have a normal sized seadan vehicle, it probably won't fit in yor trunk or may take up the entire trunk.

Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

I love foray! I have a different color thats discontinued. I mistakenly bought a travelsystem first and realized after using a snap and go while my son was in the infant seat, that I wanted a good stroller. One that he could face me. I am SO glad I got this one. My only complaint is that you cant reverse the seat with the child in it, or just move the handle like some other ones. You have to plan ahead, or hand your child to someone while you switch it. not bad enough to give it one less star in my opinion.
my fav's about it
great cup holder
BIG basket and can be accessed both front and back
love the extending handle
love the shade--very large
my son always sleeps in it and its very comfy you just rotate the seat to flat and hes so content.
its long--he's in the 75th percentile for height and has plenty of room to grow!
pushes like a dream--one handed into to doorways.

you also cant travel with it, at keast I wouldnt--was too afraid they'd break it on the plane, so we are currently in the market for a nice umbrella stroller that is comfy and fold small. we may get the maxi cosi perle we love this company!
one more thing--go and test it and FOLD IT! its big but doesnt take up roo much room in my honda accord. its easy to take apart and assmble--even with one hand I have mastered it. you can also use the seat to put bags in when flat in your trunk. no problems there for me.

Comments about Maxi-Cosi 1009611 Maxi Cosi Foray Stroller - Penguin:

I got this carriage as a gift from my mom...i thought it was great but it's a bit uncomfortable for me because the sitting piece does not fold together it stays as is so that takes up space in the car or god forbidden I would have to travel with it on Public Transportation that could be a real nightmare but overall a good carriage and my son seems to enjoy.
