Comments about Workman Publishing 1006274 Brain Quest: Kindergarten Workbook:

I am sad to give this product 2 stars, but that's as much I can give it. My main concern with this product is that the handwriting/tracing pages, which account for the majority of the book, are too dark. The pages are not white, and the tracing lines are dark blue so my kid cannot see anything when she is tracing with a pencil! I tried to get my kids to trace with pencils - can hardly see pencil on the pages; with a pen - better, but still hard to see; crayons - the writing cannot be precise when tracing. My only other choice was a marker, and it works wonderfully, but all markers leak through pages, so my kiddos cannot do activities on the back of the page. In fact, the tracing lines, and the arrows that show correct letter formation, are so dark, that sometimes it is even hard to see the letter. Because of this seemingly little thing, the book remains on the shelf for months, unused. Other than that, the other activities are OK.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
