          My 21 month old son liked this right away - it's easy to learn, manipulate, and it's just the right size. A month later, he still likes it and still plays with it - I really think it did help teach him shapes. I love Melissa & Doug stuff, so I knew I couldn't go wrong with this.

            This puzzle is awesome and my daughter loves it! We bought it for her when she was about 16 months old and she loves naming the shapes and putting the puzzle together. It's also quite sturdy. I recommend it! :)
