I love this bed, and best yet my son loves this bed as well (we have it in orange which adds a great punch of color without being too overbearing.) I had set it up as a chair first for him when he was 1 year old and still in his crib and it stayed in his room that way for about a year until he was ready for his toddler bed, and we've not looked back since. He loves sleeping in his "chair/bed" and I really think having it as a place of comfort in his nursery to go and sit and read books in helped being in a big boy bed more comforting. The first time around it took me about 45 mins to put the chair together, and the assembly from the chair to bed took all of 15 minutes, and that was with my toddler attempting to "help". It is more than worth the money because I've already had over a year of worth out of and plan on having many more years of usage, not only as a toddler bed but as a great chair as well. It's a great deal for parents who love a sleek, modern, and practical bed that can still be used well after the toddler bed has been outgrown. On a side note, my son's older cousins loved sitting in the chair and reading books/watching movies as well, so I estimate this bed lasting until my son reaches double digits. It's the best deal out there!

We bought this bed in orange. This bed looks really cool, the side rails are great. I like how it converts into a chair, and the pads are included. The bed frame is not very sturdy, we called the pkolino comapany and they sent us a stablizer kit. This product looks great, but is not built to last.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is a very cute and cozy little bed for my 2 year old and she LOVES it. It was a bit difficult to put together (you need to pay careful attention to which side the slats attach to the headboard and the footboard, we had messed that up), but we eventually figured it out. It's much nicer looking and more mod than a lot of the other beds and a great value for the price. We were happy we spent a little more than the average $100 toddler bed. And we hope it works well as a chair too when she moves up to a bigger bed. [...] We ended up keeping it because it would have been such a pain to send it back - and now we really like the orange anyway.
