All of the Thomas Wooden engines are great...they're durable and easy for little ones to play with. Hiro, however, is one of my son's favorites. It melts my heart to watch him run around yelling "Hooray for Hiro!"

When the "Hero of the Rails" movie came on tv we had to go and get Hiro that day. My son is half Japanese so he loves this engine. He loves that he is a big engine like Gordon. He chose this version of Hiro because he is all fixed up. My son is only 3 years old so he gets upset to see the broken down version of his hero.
