I USUALLY DO USE THE READY TO FEED , I USED SIMILAC AT 1ST BUT IT WAS TOO HARD TO OBTAIN & NO POWDER EITHER FOR PAST 9 MONTHS DUE TO RECALL I DO PREFER READY TO FEED OVER THE POWDER 100 % & THIS FORMULA IS A MIRACLE FOR REFLUX BABIES & THE ADDED RICE STARCH IS DESIGNED TO THICKEN IN THE STOMACH & COAT STOMACH , THE POWDER IS A LOT THICKER , MIXED , MY BABY EVEN AT 9 MONTHS CAN NOT DRINK ANY FORMULA EXCEPT W/ RICE STARCH I TRIED REG THIS MONTH SHE THROWS UP , THESE ARE GREAT FOR ON THE GO & I AGREE I WISH THEY CAME IN A LARGER SIZE OR EVEN HAVE INDIVIDUAL POWDER PKS FOR ON THE GO IN CASE BUT I PREFER THESE OVER POWDER W/ POWDER I ONLY USE BOTTLED WATER , ID LIKE TO SAY THAT I TRIED PARENT CHOICE W/ RICE STARCH & IT ONLY CAME IN A LARGE CAN 17.00 WASTED SHE REFUSED TO DRINK IT , ITS SIMILAR TO A CHALKY BLAND NON SWEETEND SKIM OR POWDERED MILK IF YOU STARTED WITH IT IT MIGHT BE DIFFRENT BUT SHE RERUSED IT ENFAMIL AF POWDER DOES NOT STINK LIKE SIMILAC READY TO FEED IT STINKS BAD BOTH HAVE A SWEETNESS TO THEM IN TASTE HOWEVER NOT PARENT CHOICE W/ RICE STARCH IT IS 100 % BLAND & HAS NO TASTE EXCEPT A WATERED DOWN TASTE & IS NOT SMOOTH , I HAD HOPED IT WLD WORK BECAUSE OF COST , BUT IT WAS TERRIBLE TASTING COMPARED TO SIMILAC R/S & ENFAMIL A/RSO ALL FORMULAS ARE NOT EQUAL IN TASTE THEY ARE IN REQUIRED INGREDIENTS , SIMILAC & ENFAMIL ARE THE MOST WELL KNOWN , DUE TO SIMILACS POWDER RECALL FOR WELL OVER A YEAR , THERE READY TO FEED SENSITIVE FOR SPIT UP W/ RICE STARCH WAS $ 3.84 PER 32 OZ BOTTLE & THIS MONTH OCT 2011 POWDER HAS RETURNED TO THE SHELVES & GUESS WHAT THE PRICE HAS BASICALLY DOUBLED & 6.64 AT [@] & UP TO 7.99 ELSE WHERE THATS NOT RT I WONDER W/ A TUMMY SO SENSITIVE EVEN AT 9 MONTHS WILL SHE BE ABLE TO TOLERATE COWS MILK AT 1 YR OLD ? I HOPE THIS HELPS MONEY HAS BEEN VERY TIGHT & WIC DIDNT PROVIDE BUT 20 BOTTLES A MONTH SO I NEEDED 10/12 MORE & I TRIED W/ PARENT CHOICE IT DIDNT WORK , FYI , EVERY 7 YRS WIC S CONTRACT IS UP & EITHER SIMILAC OR ENFAMIL GETS THAT CONTRACT NO ONE ELSE , DEPENDING ON LOWEST BID !!!!!!!!!!!ENFAMIL DOES MAKE MORE SPECIALTY FORMULAS & EVEN DURING CONTRACT W/ SIMILAC IF YOUR BABY S DR WRITES A SCRIPT FOR 1 OF ENFAMILS SPECIALTY FORMULAS THEY WILL PROVIDE IT !!!!

Although this is not as thick as the powder version and it does smell, it is great for on the go. If you like the thickness of the powder I don't recommend and I have not had issues w/ staining for if you have a stain use Dreft Spray it works. Otherwise I recommend to bib your baby or use a burp cloth. I have had no issues using on the go for my son and it is really a lifesaver I just wish they made bigger ones. If you don't like to put a nipple on this nursette just pour into a normal bottle shake and works just as well.

This is a great product whenever you are on the road. Either going to the mall or restaurant.All you have to do is pop the bottle. The poop color does change when your baby drinks these for a few days, so don't be alarmed , it is normal.I will recommend these nursette bottles to anyone that is on the road.

Dont get me wrong I love this formula. It has done wonders for my reflux baby. That being said I hate the ready feed. Its gross brown,stains,and is not as thick as the powder. Yes its easier but I will not use it.. Try the powder,it works much better. My son spits up the same with teh ready feed as he does with regular enfamil so I use the powder only.Also my reflux baby can not use regular bottles so putting the nipple on and using isnt a option for us.

My new baby would spit up everytime she was fed with regular Enfamil..I switched to the A.R. Enfamil and the spit up problem was solved, it worked/s great!! I would highly recommended this product..not only did it fix the problem, but the nursette bottles are wonderful for travel and especially those middle of the night feedings. You just pop the top off and use your own nipple and cap..no waiting for a heated bottle..no mixing..and no wasted liquid can formula!!
