This product was a huge disappointment. I purchased two for my 6-month-old twins' cribs. I installed the first one and put my son in, as he's more active. First, he managed to lift himself off the mattress by grabbing it with one hand and sticking one foot halfway up the bumper. I took him down and he went right for it again, this time yanking at it until it came off on one end. This took him two minutes. Thinking I'd installed it wrong (unlikely as the directions are pretty simple) I checked and reinstalled. He pulled it down again. This product may work for younger, relatively inactive infants, but if you're looking for something to keep a busy little one from sticking arms and legs through the slats when he or she wakes in the middle of the night, this isn't it.

It fits our crib and provides me the piece of mind that it's safer than the traditional bumper that came with the bed set. It looks nice too!

We had a problem with our son getting his arms and legs caught between the slats of the crib and also hitting his against the crib. I saw this online and decided to get it and it works great. It was easy to put on and even though there are spaces at two corners of the crib, it works great. I saw reviews about it looking cheap and slipping, but I haven't had any problems with it and it looks just fine to me. It really does the job and gives peace of mind in terms of baby suffocating.

i actually have 2 of these, 1 for each of my 7 m/o twins' cribs. both of them like to sleep snuggled up to the crib rail, so a traditional bumper created a suffocation hazard. this product allows us to have the convenience of a bumper and the peace of mind knowing our boys can still breathe if they are up against it. after 3 times during one night of pulling the crib out to chase the binky that miraculously shoots right through the crib slats, this has been a sanity saver.

I chose this bumper because of all the SIDS warnings against traditional bumpers (even though some use those without any problems). The Breathable Bumper isn't nearly as cute as bumpers that are part of a set, but it does the trick. Plus, I do like it's just neutral and simple, and a little see-through from the mesh. My husband installed it and had no problems. It fits very snugly, and there are no dragging parts.

This crib bumper was a great purchase for my baby! I originally wasn't going to buy a bumper because of the risks involved; however, I changed my mind after my 5 month old got his leg stuck between the slats of his crib. My active little one has not had any trouble since we bought this bumper. The only con to this product is that it is slightly more difficult to attach to the crib, as compared to the traditional bumpers.

I had high hopes for this bumper. My daughter kept getting her leg stuck in between the bars and I thought this would solve the problem. It didn't. I often had to pull the bumper back into the proper position. I did that last night too, but my daughter apparently just pushed it down with her leg because I had to go in her room in the middle of the night again becuase she was screaming that her leg was stuck. It would be great if the material was hard and didn't slide down to the bottom of the mattress.
