When you’re finished drawing, hit the lights and turn on the dome. The dome spins to create glow motion that makes your scene come to life.
Six unique markers
The Glow Dome comes with six brightly colored glow markers. Use the unique markers to make brilliant glow-motion scenes.
Tracing sheets
The two included tracing sheets give you a place to start. Trace stars and meteors for an out-of-this-world scene.
Lights and speed

Crayola Color Explosion Glow Dome. Kids want fun with unique surfaces. Create the illusion of animation with flashing lights. Draw on a dome that glows in the dark and spins! Built in lights let kids control lighting of the inside panel, outside dome, both panel and dome, or create a flashing effect. Glow Dome contains 6 glow markers, 2 starter scenes, and the Glow Dome with 2 drawing surfaces.

I bought this toy for my son for his 6th birthday and he loves its. The lights on it are very bright, you don't even have to turn the lights off in your house to see the glow, it takes 3 "AA" batteries. It is extremely easy to use, not complicated at all. It also has a storage compartment to hold the markers which is very handy. It is very easy to clean just a paper towel or dry cloth. You can draw whatever you want, or you can trace pictures it comes with. You can also download more scenes to trace from [@], which we did. I'm not sure how long the batteries will last, but he used it for 3 hours straight with no problems. My 8 month loved watching the lights on it. I would definetly recommend this to anyone. It is the perfect gift!

My 2 boys had been asking for this for a while since it looked like so much fun on the box and in the commercials (what doesn't?). They couldn't draw the pictures on the plastic so I did, but even if they could, they would still have lost interest. It was fun to watch at first, but definitely not worth it for the price.

My kids watched it turn a few times at different speeds, then the batteries died & they never played with it again (even after I replaced the batteries).

    It's easy to you, you can trace the stencils that come with it or draw your own creation. Not for the narrow minded. It is exactly what I expected, color on the plastic, turn the Glow Dome light on, turn your lights off, watch your creation. My 4 year old loves it.

          We have had this for 3 years, and get it out at Christmas time, usually put it away after a few weeks. It can be used for decorating at any event, and my vision for it was to have a Santa and sleigh drawing on the rotating dome, spinning. Could be well enjoyed by adults who like to have a unique way to express their ideas. Kids get tired of it quickly and then there is the clean up factor. If you don't completely clean it off after last use, the markings are embedded into the plastic. I have been able to scrub them off with Lysol bathroom cleaner scrubbing bubbles spray. It's extreme, but works.

          I bought this toy on clearance for my 6 year old son. The only reason it was marked down was because of a very badly damaged box. My son loves to draw and create. He has a great time drawing out his scenes on the plastic dome. He drew a city with the automobiles driving around it and was so proud. The markers seem faint but when you turn on the light they are very easy to see. They also store nicely in the base so you don't have to worry about them getting lost. My son actually uses this as a night light. The only thing about this toy that isn't so great is the noise it makes when the outer dome rotates. It's not horrible, but it isn't exactly pleasent. I thought it would keep my son awake at night, but it doesn't. All in all a great toy!

                            I bought this for my son who has cerebral palsy, because I thought he would have fun with it. The markers are not as bright as they show on TV infact they barely showed up. Turned it on and it would spin around one time then stop. We were very disapointed in this product. Even my 14 year old tried it out and didn't like it.
