I purchased this product because my twin 2 year olds are very interested in learning their letters now and I wanted something portable to take on our vacation. They have been using/playing with it for a little over a week now and can sing most of the ABC song. It holds their interest for a good 15-20 minutes at a time - quite long for a toddler. As an educator, I find the item to be quite useful in helping them learn their letters.

My son received this gift for Christmas. It was a week later when we discovered that when you push the letter z, the toy says "zed" instead of "zee". The same thing also happens when it sings the alphabet song.

I normally don't like electronic "teaching" toys but I bought this for my 22-month old because he loves to push buttons. I actually think it's a pretty good toy and makes sense. There are several different ways to use it. I'm not counting on it to teach my son the alphabet but he enjoys it.

Purchased for my 2yr old for his birthday. This is such a great toy for new learners! My son is very stubborn and won't listen to me but he LOVES this. He is now 2 1/2 and recognizes all the letters and their sounds. This toy has been great. I've actually just recently suggested it to a stranger looking at this line of toys!

My 4 year old was having trouble remembering her letters, this did the trick! I really like how it mixes up the letters that the kids have to find instead of just going "A, B, C". That way they don't just memorize what order the letters are in, but the letters themselves.

My baby loved this toy--for about 6 weeks. 6 weeks after he really got to an age where he could enjoy it it just quit working. The warranty is only 3 months and we had received it as a gift before he was old enough to use it. The warranty was well expired by the time he could enjoy it. It didn't even make it past the factory battery life. So disappointed because it really was teaching him his letter sounds. He is not quite 18 months yet and he knows his alaphabet--we were giving this product a lot of credit for that. We don't have the money to replace it on our own.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old niece. As Christmas isn't here yet, I can't comment on her liking it. But from my stand point, it was easy to use, the button are big so tiny fingers can get use, and the voice of the toy is friendly and fun.
