My son is now four years old; he is just about to outgrow it. I bought this carseat when he was six months old to replace the Chicco one that he was terribly uncomfortable in. I have a 2001 Toyota Celica that does not have the latch system. It fits perfectly. I do use the Mighty Tite car seat tightener in order to get a very snug and secure fit. It has completely indented my back seat, but I don't care too much about that, since I have been able to keep my car and have my son safe! I know that I had a lot of problems finding car seats for my small car (and now I am in search of a booster that will fit!) and thought I would post a review to help any others struggling with the same concern. Also, I highly recommend the Mighty Tite for all of the reviewers struggling with fit or for cars like mine without latch.

p.s. Mine was blue, not carrot. . . it does stain pretty bad! But after four years of daily use, that is fine by me!

I have two boys, 3yrs and 6mths. I drive a Jeep Liberty which has Zero leg room in the back seat, which presents a problem when it comes to rear facing car seats. My 3yr has to set on the passenger side because its the only door with child lock on it. So my rear facing 6mth old must be behind me. I'm fairly tall so I need leg room myself. I couldn't find another car seat that would fit behind me but this one works perfect. It takes up no more room rear facing than the infant car seat did. I love all the safety features. I know there was post that said that it wouldn't fit an 05 liberty, but with the rear facing tether it works great! So far I love it. I put my 35lb, 39in tall, 3yr in it to see how my 6mth old might fit before he outgrows it and my 3yr old fit great,and actually wanted the seat for himself. If I could do it all over again I would have had one for him when he was little. I love how thick and comfy the infant pad is, and my 6mth old seems very comfy in it too. I love the color though I am worried it will get nasty looking, but we shall see. But so far so good.

If I'd known how great this carseat was going to be, I would have bought it long ago. My daughter has always hated the car and she refuses to sleep during rides, even when she's super tired. Ever since we've had this seat, she sleeps all the time, making rides much more pleasant. It's very padded and it keeps her more reclined than her old seat. It appears to be much more comfortable for her and she's happy as can be now. It does show dirt easily but other reviews have said it cleans easiy so I'm not too worried about that. I was hesitant to purchase it because of the price but now I know that you can't put a price on a nice, quiet ride in the car.

We have a two-door, Civic and the Coccoro car seat fits perfectly in the back seat with room on either side for passengers. It's lightweight and easy to install with the latch system. The infant insert is well padded and provides support so that our baby's head doesn't fall into an uncomfortable position while she sleeps unlike other convertible car seats we've tried. Even if we end up getting a bigger car at some point, we will continue to use this brand!

I love this carseat it's compact but still feels safe... The only problem is it stains terribly, and I have washed the cover numerous times, and it barely looks better afterward. Maybe other colors would be better than the orange...

My son screamed and cried a lot in his old car seat. I got this one and the rides have been peaceful. In fact he now falls asleep in his car seat. So thankful for this, and love the color and the fact that it is so compact. I have a 05 chevy impala. It fits perfect.

I purchased this carseat when my daughter was 6months old. I love it how she's sleeping comfortably in her carseat like she's in a cocoon. It can be REAR FACING as long as you secure it with the car seatbelt as well as the latch. I got the strawberry pink and I just can't stop saying "LOVE IT MUCH"......Very happy I did my research first before purchasing another carseat......I believed based on my research two months ago, this carseat is listed as one of the top 10 convertible carseats that are out on the market....Glad that I can use this carseat at least for another year now that my daughter is 8mths old and 20lbs.....By the way, did I mention that I drive a 2007 Toyota Corolla and the passenger front seat is not push all the way to dashboard but a PASSENGER can really seat comfortably and stretch their leg, now that's a PLUS...........

I was SO extremely disappointed to have gotten this as a shower gift only to find out that it did not work out in my 2005 Honda Civic as a rear facing car seat, nor my husband's 2005 Jeep Liberty. The bottom is very much rounded and allows for way too much tipping. I had a friend who works at a fire station install it for me (he installs car seats all of the time) and he said "it's just not going to work." He demonstrated what could happen if I were to get into an accident by applying force to the top of the seat and it totally flipped over, which would leave baby pinned inside the car seat and the back seat! I assume forward facing it will be fine. Unfortunately, it is sitting brand new in a closet because the box was destroyed, so I was unable to return it. I noticed the newer Combi "33" has a handle-like bar that goes in front and I assume that is to stop the tipping? Anyway, I ended up getting a Graco Snug Ride 35 and I'm happy with it.

Great car seat. Very compact. I use it in my 2007 Toyota Camry for my 10 m old. I also have a Sunshine Kids 65 (4 y. old uses it) and an Evenflo for a 3. y. old. I was using the combi connections before and now I have more room. Perfect for what I needed.

I love this car seat. Its soft and nicely padded. The color is beautiful. My daughter loves it. It takes alittle while to install the first time, but after that its really easy to do again and again. I am very happy with my purchase.
