Our dining room is carpeted and this mat stays in place, is big enough to cover our toddler's "throwing range" of food, and is easy to wipe clean!

This just isn't worth the money or the trouble. It has to be wiped clean...I might as well be wiping the floor, what's the difference? My fault for not checking; I thought I could throw it in the wash. I find I'm better off using a sheet under the highchair, which I can just toss in the wash. Also, a sheet covers more area. I found that my son would drop food and his sippy cup further than the area covered by this mat.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
