OH MY GOODNESS! This doll is great. My twins each got one from my parents. It took them a bit to realize that their new baby dolls were talking to them. Once they did she was a total hit. She does so many different things that it took us a while to make it through everything.
She seems pretty durable to me (some other reviews seem to disagree). My girls are not brutal but they play hard. The baby has been dropped a few times but she is fine and still working perfectly. She she falls down she does actually cry and that really was a hit. They didn't mean to drop their new baby, it just happens. Overall, we are very happy with the dolls. My parents did not mind the cost of them because of all the things this baby can do. They told me that they played with both dolls a few hours before they wrapped them up as christmas presents !!!
We love them.
I have read some issues with batteries, but we have had it well over a month and the batteries are still strong and working fine. My parents DID buy the kind recommended on the package. Maybe that is what has helped.

this is a great toy. it works soo good. i got it for my daughter for christmas and she LOVED it! my daughter is 4 years old. it works just like on the commericals. the doll seems like another tollder. she walks on everything but has a little trouble on carpet.

Got this for my almost 3 yr old for xmas. It was to be her big santa gift. The doll does what the ad say and all....but if you pick her up to hug and do anything else...she jerks and makes mechanical stuttering noises.

This is a great doll!! I love the things it says. All her little noises are soooo cute. She does like to sit a lot and you have to practicly kill her to get her to walk. This doll does a lot more stuff than nwhat the description says it does. When my daughter stops playing with the doll I don't have to worry about batteries cause the doll will lay down say goodnight and go to sleep. So it does shut it self off.
