The Dr.Brown bottles were recommended to me by friends, Dr's assistant, and also by my OB Dr. After 7 yrs. I'm starting over again and was just so curious of the many types of baby bottles around, but I guess I did ended up with Dr. Brown bottles after all. My main complaint is, my son is 1 1/2 months, he does have gas, and he does spit up after feedings. Too many parts to clean up, so I got me a bottle sterilizer.This bottle does leak when tightened too much, and also when you go over the fill line on the bottle. This bottle may not be recommended for every mom and baby, so have other options and try other brands!!!

as for the people who say it leaks....well i have only had the bottle leak once because i over tightened the nipple. which can happen with any bottle.my daughter was born early and she was under 5 lbs when released from the hospital. dr browns is the closest match to the hospital nipples ,which my baby got used to n the NICU. i tried so many bottles. the formula does not bubble and my girl is not gassy from the bottle. dr browns also has preemie nipples available too,for those tiny little mouths.the only downfall is all the parts to clean.but it isnt as bad as some say. if it means a happy baby, then it eans a happy mommy or daddy....so its worth it

I heard a lot about these products and bought the whole pack... It leaks all the time and no difference in spit up. Its hard to wash too. I would not recommend these products.

my son was born at 26 weeks so it was hard to find a bottle that had a small enough nipple for him to be able to suck on. after trying several bottles and i mean lots of different bottles we even tried special bottles used for cleft palate babies. the dr mentioned dr brown bottles we bought them and they work great i found premie nipples and the best part is that he doesn't suck in so much air and is less fussy. the downfall is washing the bottles the vent the nipple the cap etc... it leaked a couple times but other than that they're great, oh yeah i just found out they discontinued the wide vents thats sucks for me.

Too many parts to clean and keep track of. The bottles even come with their own special cleaning brush - another part to lose! I found these bottles were more hassle than it was worth, cleaning all those parts (bottle, nipple, ring, valve, cap, and dome lid!!!), and I didn't really notice much difference in my baby as far as spitting up and gas. I had to read the instructions three times to make sure I was doing everything "right" too.

These were given to me, a "freecycle" type of thing. Even after being well-loved by the other family, I found that they work very well. I have had no problems with leaks. I feel like they are worth the extra few minutes it takes to wash the parts.

I love these bottles. They are light to hold and work well. As long as the nipple and ring are not wet they do not leak. I would recommend them to anyone. My son is breastfeed and he does well with them as well. Washing the parts are worth a good bottle!

i bottle feed and the bottle leak everywhere my poor little man get all wet if you tigh it to much or regular it leaks the only thing thats good is that it doesnt give him gas

At least for my baby (who is breastfed), this narrow nipple didn't work well. She ate way to fast and then got really pissy. A wider nipple is recommended for breastfed babies

After four kids this is the best bottle ever:) IT DEOSEN'T LEAK, IT'S NOT HARD TO WASH. Just follow the instructions and you will be ok. It's like any other bottle just with extra pieces.
