This man cement mixer by Bruder has a hand wheel that turns the drum and actually moves the contents! The drum empties through the chute, which is adjustable. Water actually drains out of the water tank through the hose of this cement truck. It has a removable bucket, and soft rubber tires with real treads. Lift the cab forward to reveal engine.

Works great, perfect for outside play, we used kitty litter to make real "cement" and the kids loved it, a little messy, but worth the cleanup. Nice size and overall was definitely not disappointed!

I took me two minutes after receiving this product (gift for my 4 year old son) to realize it wasn't worth the money. It is plastic and not well built. The hose end broke instantly (plastic) and then so did the hose used to make the truck mix. I packed it up in 5 minutes (which made my son very upset) and took it back to the closest store. For close to $60 this product shouldn't break in the first 5 minutes. I am spending a little more for one of the other mixers so I am hoping for better luck. Would not recommend this product.

There really aren't that many options out there for cement mixers that actually work. My 3 yr old HAD to have a working cement truck and we looked all over trying to find him one for Christmas. Leave it to Grandpa (a former boy who understands why the thing must actually mix cement) to come up with the perfect gift. Yes, this one is a tad pricey, but it is (in the words of my little one) "SUPER cool" and seems to be fairly sturdy. We have had it for 5 months now and he uses it outside in his sandbox and the thing barely shows signs of wear.

Purchased for my 3-year-old's birthday. At this age, he especially loves playing with the hose and stuffing everything from Matchbox cars to finger puppets in the front seat. I believe we can add a Bruder sound/light module to the roof, too, if we decide to go that route. Overall a great toy that should last and grow with the child.
