My son loves the fire truck! I agree with the other mom that it does not say a whole lot like the other Cars. For the mom that was disappointed that it no longer goes - it is battery powered for the rev part and the phrases. Once the batteries are replaced it should work again. They do have to shake the car to get it to go. My son plays with them either way. There is a switch under the bumper to turn the sound and rev part off.

U have to make sure the switch is off when not in play. It very touchy and the littlest thing sets the siren off.
My son loves the truck and of course loves the noise even more.
Very sturdy and rugged for little boy.

I bought this for my 3 year old son, it worked ok for the first few hours. now when you shake it, it only makes the noise but dosen't go.

It was an instant hit with my son [...]-- Red was revving his engine inside the box-- but the excitement was short lived once it was outside of the box and Red has since been long forgotten.

My son has all the other Cars Shake N' Go vehicles and when Red came out he was thrilled. The only negative is that he doesn't say any phrases form the movie (not that Red had alot of lines) but it only makes a couple fire engine sounds. Other than that a great buy to add to his collection.
