Power Little Mac through match after match of motion-controlled upper cuts, body blows and hooks. Throw your punches to help him throw his. The motion-sensing Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers turn your real-life swings into on-screen punches, making this Punch-Out!! game one anyone can play. Optional functionality with the Wii Balance Board accessory (sold with Wii Fit) adds in active play dodging and ducking.

The game can also be played with classic NES-style controls, offering both newcomers and purists multiple ways to play. All new modes, including first-ever Head-to-Head fighting in the Punch-Out!! series and a challenging new Title Defense mode.

An all new multiplayer mode lets you box head-to-head against a friend for the first time ever in the Punch-Out!! Series. I loved the previous version of Punch Out for the original Nintendo so once I got Wii system I was very tempted to try this one out. The game is definitely challenging, but there is a practice mode that allows you to prepare for your next opponent and whatever moves he will throw at you. I like the fact that there is a little introductory movie and side story for each opponent and that they all speak to you during the fight in their own languages (although many times I don't know what they're saying). I think the graphics actually get better with each opponent. I also like the fact that the game doesn't end after defeating the last opponent and that you have a chance to defend your title against more challenging fighters the second time around... plus as an added bonus there is a suprise quest fighter in the "last stand" mode as well as the championship mode for those that prove themselves to be worthy. Overall super entertaining game with many surprises along the way to the top.

I loved Punch Out on the original Nintendo so I knew I had to purchase it when it came out on the Wii. I love being involved in the game instead of just pushing buttons. It's more challenging trying to knock out the original characters. They have also added some new characters which spices it up. I would recommend anyone who had the original Punch Out to go out and buy this one!

I didn't care for this game. My stepson LOVES it. So we have a win lose situation. I do love the boxing, on the wii fit and the wii sports. But this to me just wasn't fun. You can't just punch and punch like on the wii sports.

This game is fun much like the older versions. However I feel with the technology we have now and the graphics I have seen in other games, some of the graphics in this game could have been better! Definitely a workout and the kids love the boxing part! Very fun game all in all!!!
