We have had this dresser for over two years now. It still looks and works great! I would highly recommend it. We will be buying this dresser again for our second child.

This is, by far, the worst piece of furniture I've ever bought.

A month or two after purchasing it, the drawers started breaking. The glide mechanism - two plastic rollers on either side of the drawer - started crumbling. When you have metal tracks and plastic rollers, the plastic is bound to start falling apart. But after a single month of normal use? They can't be replaced or fixed that I'm aware of, and so the drawers don't glide on their track. They stick and go in crooked every single time, making a grating noise. It's a huge battle to open & close the drawers at all - extremely frustrating when you're trying to quickly dress a child in the morning.

I tried rearranging the drawers, moving the broken drawers to the bottom and filling them with less-needed clothing. I moved the working drawers to the top for everyday t-shirts & pants. Today, the drawer glide mechanism on the top drawer broke. Three of the five drawers are now non-functional.

For the amount I spent on this dresser, I would expect something to last my daughter a while. I hesitate getting rid of it because it cost me a lot and it's not worth a penny if its not functional.

Morale of the story -- don't waste your money. For this price, buy a good quality dresser from another store.

I've had the Palisade set for almost 2 years and am impressed with the quality of the furniture BUT I am not happy with the drawers for the dresser. They slide very quickly and have hurt my toddler's hands a couple of times. And unfortunately, I haven't found child safety locks that would stop from that happening. I just can't believe that they would make drawers that glide so easily! None of my other furniture does this...not sure if knowing this now I would buy the dresser again....like the crib but now my 20 month old has learned to climb out! Wish it would go just a little lower but it's time for toddler rails.

This dresser is beautiful and sturdy. The cherry color is beautiful and I love that it came fully assembled. Quality product!

Love love love! My husband and I bought this in Fall 2009 (I was only 12 weeks pregnant but wanted the sale price). I love that the drawers are easy to remove and put back in. On occasion, when I over stuff the draw, a shirt or two will fall behind. Since it is so easy to remove the drawers, it is easy to find them! This bedroom set will last us a very LONG time!

We bought this with the three piece set. I was not going to get this due to a small room size, but my husband convinced me that it was needed due to the small drawer size of the dresser/changer. He was right. I am so glad that I got this piece. The drawers are nice and deep and the piece is just as sturdy as the crib.

I have had some problems with the dresser/changer with it not being very sturdy and one of the drawers not being level after moving it just two or three times, but this piece is great. I have moved this dresser about a dozen times to find the right spot for it in the room and it seems to be holding up great!

It comes fully assembled, except for the feet which took me about one minute to screw on myself! Overall, I would buy this and the crib again, but think twice about the dresser/changer.

I love the color and the ease of putting the dresser together, but it seems a bit flimsy compared to the crib and long dresser. We had to rearrange the drawers until they all were in a particular spot in order for them all to open and close.

This chest of drawers is very well built and sturdy! Only had to assemble the feet! We purchased the whole set (crib, chest, and dresser) and could not be happier! I recommend 200%!

First of this is beautiful. I was happy with it in the store when I picked it but when we got it into the nursery I knew we picked the right thing! One thing I didn't know prior to receipt, it comes fully assembled (maybe I missed that part) so it is a bit heavy if you are going up stairs but otherwise, this is perfect. It is also very solid - definitely won't need to buy a new dresser as our son gets older

I love this dresser. It's got great color, it's very solid and will last for years! I havent really set anything on it just yet but I am afraid it may scratch easily. I got all 3 pieces for [...] so it was a great deal. All 3 pieces will last for at least 6-7 yrs and fit my child perfectly. The dresser comes fully assembled and packed very well from the manufacture!
