I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they both LOVE the Bubble Bellies Dog! It's so cute how the dog's mouth opens and closes when you pull the trigger in the handle. The dog makes really great streams of bubbles and closing the mouth helps "wipe" off extra bubble solution and gets it ready to blow more bubbles.

I also wanted to addres some of the things that I read in other reviews.
1. Both of my kids are able to squeeze the handle easily to make the bubbles come out.
2. The sound of the motor is noticeable, but definitely still quiet.
3. We've had no leaking from the bottom of the dog where he was attached to the box with screws.
4. We've used the dog on multiple occasions and he blows long uninterrupted streams of nickel-sized bubbles.
5. As a bubble toy, this is an outdoor only toy for us. It's inherently a bit messy because it involves bubbles. The more we use it, the cleaner we are getting with it. Refilling it is perhaps the messiest part. I also try to have my kids hold it upright and not parallel to the ground or upside down, as that may cause some of the bubble solution to leak out. All in all, the messiness is MUCH less than I expected after reading reviews here. Only handwashing is required for us to clean up. I would never use it (or any bubble item) indoors though. (Okay, I admit we did use it in the bathroom once--but not in the tub.)

My kids absolutely loved playing with this toy. It was easy to use and as soon as my 2 year old got her hands on it, all bets were off. We had a great time playing outside.

We love that it's easy for the kids to use, we love that it's automatic and that it's still hands on and doesn't just sit there, kids actually have to pull the handle to make the bubbles come out.

I was given this toy for the purpose of writing this review.

I love bubble bellies! I've tried different bubble guns/machines and these don't leak since the container is separately inside the little animal. My 4yr old loves it too!

We just recently got this product. Being the mother of a 9 year old and 1 year old I have to say WE LOVE IT! So much fun with never ending bubbles! We have a blast. It's small so we can take it wherever we go. Huge hit at the park! It can get a little messy, but kids LOVE to be messy

It sucks.. It doesn't actually blow any bubbles, and the bubble solution gets on everything. I should have just bought the one that goes on the bathroom wall. It was cheaper and had better ratings when I got home and looked it up.

I'm so glad I didn't show this to my daughter before trying it out myself first. She would have been so upset because the thing never worked! I'm not sure how they can even sell these things because apparently they don't work for anyone! Waste of money!! Do not buy this!!!!!!!!!

Bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter. I'm so glad I tried it (over and over) before I showed it to her. Not a single bubble. She would have been so disappointed.

my daughters use this daily inside and out we have had it for 2 years still going strong the only complaint i hav is the batteries don't last long and it requires daily cleaning due to bubbles dripping

The thing only worked a couple of days and then quit. Please don't waste your money on this!

My mom bought this for my 17 month old son and it is horrible. It's difficult to fill and the bubble solution leaked from the bottom. Not one bubble ever came out. It's going back to the store! Don't waste your money or time!
