Back in the days when the first Toy Story movie came out, have you always wanted a Woody doll that just looks like the one Andy played with in the movies? Well, look no further because after 14 years of waiting, Thinkway Toys has produced the best Sheriff Woody doll ever! Everything on this figure just looks exactly like the way Woody was in the Toy Story movies except Woody never had an open mouth when Andy was playing with him, but that's no big issue to me. I like the way the fabric was done on Woody, especially his hat is actual stitching instead of plastic. Anyways, Woody is just a fun toy to play with! I honestly didn't like Woody that much in the beginning since I was always into Buzz Lightyear, but really, this is such a cool toy. His interactive mode is just a lot of fun. I even tried scaring Woody while he was in his interactive mode and boy, it was so funny! This is because he made a funny sound when I scared him and I was just laughing at it! Now, I do wish this toy had the "Somebody's poisened the water hole!" saying in it, but it's still cool without it. Oh, the packaging is really cool even though it's something that wasn't seen in the movies, but this is a perfect imagination of what box Woody would come in. Obviously, the stand Woody came with is really nice so that he can stand up since he can't stand up by himself because he is a ragdoll. The certificate of authenticity is really cool too! Overall, I say this is a perfect version of Woody and I highly recommend it as I don't see how Thinkway toys could've made Woody any better! I hope you find this review very helpful and thanks for taking the time to read it!

Head comes off

My grandson age 4 got a Sherrif Woody from Santa Claus this year. I had to purchased 4 different Woody's because each one the head fell off. My son finally had to super glue his head so his head doesn't turn anymore. The stores were all very good at returning them but there is a manufacture flaw in his construction. My grandson takes Woody everywhere he goes so it does get a lot of handling and playing but for the price of [$] I feel it should of lasted through Christmas.I also purchased the warranty but that only works after 90 days of purchase. Santa and his elves were very busy replairing this toy. Just wondering if any other parents had this same problem?

    If your child loves Woody, this toy will be one of their favorites. It's larger size makes him perfect to play with, unlike the smaller, ridged versions. Being able to adjust the modes between regular, interactive or the all important off is simple and is another plus. The pull string sayings are Tom Hanks' woody voice not a sound alike. It comes with a stand but ours never gets used because Woody is always being played with. We have several versions of Woody but our son calls this on his "real Woody"

              Woody is everything my two & a half yr. old grandson imagined! He is very hard on toys, and so far Woody has held up well...love all his original quotes, and it has inspired my little guy to role play with Buzz.
              It is well made, thank goodness! I would purchase it again for another child. I also bought Bullseye (it was half off with Woody) for a June birthday.

                  My grandson received Woody for his 3rd birthday, he has become his best friend, the only problem is his head came off after the first two hours of playing with him. The store was great when we took it back (or as my grandson thinks, we took Woody to the doctor to fix him) they exchanged it with no problems. Was just surprised after what was paid for him that this happend.

                    I love this Woody, but what's more important is that my son loves it. He loves toy story, he calls it toy toy. He always has woody with him and everytime he is watching all the toystory movies he knows how to copy andy and the toys. He has several of the toy story characters. He knows most of all 3 toystory movies by memory and knows which toy to get to play along with the movies he has a great imagination. If your son absultley loves toy story to his heart or much more woody then this is a great toy to get.:)
