Moby Wrap can be used for babies from 8-35 pounds.

I had asked for this item in my registry but it was one of the few item that were never purchased. Instead, I was given a supposed-to-be versatile baby carrier. My boy is 7 weeks old and I have still not been able to place him in his carrier.

After viewing a couple of pictures of a friend of mine with her newborn (3 weeks) in the Moby wrap, I was determined to purchase it. I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT AN AMAZING PRODUCT THIS IS!!

I'm a first-time young mommy (22 yrs old) and lead a very busy schedule between school and house-work. Unfortunately, my baby boy had been crying and fussing a lot with gas and all he would do all day was cry cry cry. It was extremely time-consuming having to hold him literally all day in an attempt to comfort him. Not even his very expensive swing did the trick. However, from the minute I placed my crying child in the Moby wrap, it was as if someone had clicked the "shut off" button on him. IT WAS AMAZING!! He was happily snoozing away and I could not believe it. What's even better is that whenever I place him in there it actually helps him expel his gas (talk about a double whammy). Now, whenever daddy and I go out, we make sure to bring the Moby wrap. I even prefer carrying him over having him in his stroller. Once you get the wrapping down you're golden! I DEFINITELY RATE THIS AS A MUST HAVE ITEM ON YOUR REGISTRY AND PLAN ON PURCHASING THIS FOR ALL MY FUTURE MOM-TO-BE FRIENDS!!!!

I have only used it a couple of times when my son was 2- 3 months old. He could only be in it for short period of times because he was too cramped or he would sweat alot. It is difficult to set up because it is alot of fabric and found myself having to keep it on all the time when I was in public too. I purchased a regular infantino front carrier and use this more because it is easier for me to set up, just click him in and go. Used the front carrier for Air travel and shopping. Try wrapping a moby when you are riding coach on an airplane... this is why I never unwrapped it in public once I had it on. My son is now 6 months old and loves the hip hold... I think this wrap style will work best for us, because it is easier for me to tie. Over all, try lots of models out with your baby because every child is different just like adults, and see which carrier works best for you and your baby.

      I was looking for a product that would leave my hands free so I could do things while I still bonded with my baby. I reviewed several products before making a choice. I decided to go with the Moby wrap. It is convenient, easy to use and best of all my baby loves it! He is 6 weeks old. He falls asleep soon after putting him in it. I use it mostly when I go for walks, but I have also used around the house and at church. It seems to be the most secure as others look as if the baby will fall out. It might take 2 tries to get it right but if you are a step by step learner you will get it the first time. It is extremely comfortable, fabric is high quality, you can discreetly nurse your baby too.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I used the wrap while moving from England to Kansas and it made the check in and customs check out very easy my baby was comfortably secured in the Moby wrap allowing me to do what was needed with my other 2 children. I am also able to clean my home with my baby in the wrap. I use it when going to the store verses the bulky stroller. I can walk for exercise with my baby using the wrap.

            I loved the idea of this. It did what it was supposed to and wasn't that hard to wrap once I got the hang of it (use YouTube videos!), but I'm only 5'4, so every time I put it on, it would drag all over the floor or ground in the process. I returned it and bought a K'Tan and love it so much more! It takes half the time to put on and take off, is a lot easier to store, and there's way less fabric to deal with.

              My son LOVES being in the Moby. He calms down when he sees me putting it on. It is comfortable for both of us and extra snuggly in the winter. It was easy to learn how to put on after watching the YouTube videos. I wish it had a bit more neck support, but I don't mind holding my son's head when I lean over. The Moby really has made a big difference in fussy afternoons or on outings when I want to keep him close to me. I also love that it is so easy to wash. This is a great carrier for the price!

                I had been wanting to try this product since my baby was a newborn but the price tag scared me away. Having used the Snugli type carrier for my previous 2 babies I figured it wasnt worth the gamble. However after 18 mos of weighing whether or not it was worth the money I decided to try it. We are planning a trip to Disney World and thought it would be ideal for those times when the crowds are too heavy to maneuver a stroller. I am so glad I gave it a try. My 18 month old loves being in it and there is less strain while using the Moby than when I am just carrying him in my arms. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!

                I used this product mostly when my son was just born and I needed to get good quality skin-to-skin contact throughout the day. It worked okay then, but as my son has gotten older this product has become more and more difficult to manage with him. This product is nice for someone who has the patience to deal with all this fabric and whose children do not get hot and fussy easily. My son gets way too hot and sweats profusely in it, gets fussy and then trying to get him out of it is a nightmare when he is getting tagled up in all this. Just slipping him out of the top like the instructions say is not as easy as they make it out to be...or maybe I just have a rather large and long-limbed baby.

                  I purchased this product for the days that I had energy and needed to get things done but the baby wanted to be held. I would strap him in and go about my day. The walking and moving around kept him asleep and/or just comfortable for hours. I would recommend undressing the baby down to the diaper or a thin onesie because the fabric is very thick. My baby got hot often and would sweet until I started undressing him. If I was home, I would also take my top off and have skin to skin. My favorite use for the wrap is out shopping. I never liked putting the carseat on top of the carts so I usually just put the wrap on before leaving the house and when I get to the store I just take him out of his seat and put him right in, undressed. I carry a blanket to block the sun or in cooler areas. It does take time to learn to tie and get the baby comfortable so don't wait until you need it to read the instructions. Overall great product.
