We were ready to transition our 2.5 month old her crib/nursery and I wanted a crib soother to help establish a "nighttime routine." I decided on this one but was a little disappointed when I got home and realized that the images don't move at all. I thought about returning it, but decided to at least try it out and I'm SO glad I did. She LOVES this thing. As soon as we turn it on, she stares up at the ceiling at it and starts cooing. She'll "talk" to the starfish for a while, but it doesn't seem to keep her awake. Sometimes I'll have to go into her room and restart it, but it never takes her more than 2 cycles for her to fall asleep, no fussing. I did find the music to be a little annoying, but the water/ocean noises are better, and she seems to like it just fine.

The other thing I like about this is the portability. My husband took the baby to visit his parents and was able to throw this in the suitcase to keep her night routine consistent.

We bought this for our son when he was three months old for Christmas. He loves it. When its time to go to bed at night he looks up at the ceiling and looks at the image and listens to the music and falls asleep. He looks for it at night if we forget to put it on. We feel this was a great buy and would recommend it

This is a great product! We tired many soothers, and this one actually worked! When my son was still sleeping in his crib, my husband and I were able to just lay him down and turn on the projector and he was fast asleep! The only negative comment I can think of is the battery life. It seems to go pretty fast...But maybe that's because we used it daily! We now have introduced the toddler bed and we are thinking about buying this product again to help the transition.

We use it as our bedtime music primarily when we travel. I would like to for it to stay on all night so we could use it as a night light and the constant music. This might be possible if it had an AC adapter.

My husband and I bought this today in desperation as we have an 11 month old son who is teething and we have had over a week of tears (for at least 30 minutes) at naptime and bedtime. He has always been a great sleeper so we were very stressed out! We used it for nap time this afternoon and he cried a few times for a few seconds but then became intrigued by the pictures on his ceiling and stopped crying. I did have to restart it once as he started crying when it stopped the music and projection the first time, but by the time it stopped the second time, he was asleep with very little fuss and stress! And we had exactly the same result when putting him down to sleep this evening at bedtime! And it is portable so we can take it with to granny's house too. Great product!

The projector is adorable but I wish that the projection actually moved around the ceiling.

My 8 month old son loves this toy. It was actually given to us by a friend of ours and my son uses it to go to sleep every night. He loves seeing the pictures and the music. He gets so excited when he finally gets his p.j's on and he knows the music is coming. Great for traveling! Well worth the money!

My son is only a month, & the light catches his attention ...but only for a minute or two. Maybe he's still too small. My 2 yr old niece loved it...lol.

My older daughter has the orginal star which has a timer setting, moving objects, and various volume levels. This product is WAY to loud and has no movement. Very dissapointed.

I use this product while changing my girls diapers and getting them dressed from bath time. They love looking up at the ceiling at the pic and listening to the lulla-bys. The only thing I dont like is the pics dont move or rotate. That would make this product perfect!
