My daughter loves Dora, and we've been wanting some sort of guitar for her, so we figured this would be great. I loved that it had a button for each fret and a button for each string. It seemed like it would be a great learning toy.
When we got it home, we realized it had 2 volume settings. Loud, and very loud. A lot of the buttons produced a very annoying sound, and the "string" buttons were backwards (lowest pitch string should be on the top, but was instead on the bottom and vice-versa). I suppose for young children who aren't actually trying to learn anything about music, and just like noise, it would be fine. I thought it would be a good alternative to strings for her small fingers, but it's nothing like what I expected. Very disappointing, and no, I won't recommend it to any of my friends.

4 year old loves this toy. Lots of functions and sounds to choose from - hard to get bored. Like the low and high volume settings. We added a ribbon using the packaging screws on the back of guitar to make a strap.

my 5 year old daughter and her friends absolutely love this toy. There are a lot of sounds and functions that it can do and it keeps them busy for hours. Only problem is they start fighting over it.

Seems like pretty good quality too, and has not broken yet.

This plays several differents tunes and beats that keeps the kids interested. There are a lot of buttons that may be confusing for children under three, however just the fact that it plays music and makes noise is enough for my two little ones. It must be durable because it's been thrown around and dropped several times without a scratch. I recommend this toy.
