Product Description

Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin Drops are Vitamin D supplement drops, essential for all breastfed infants. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends using a vitamin D supplement for exclusively and partially breastfed babies because of low average levels of vitamin D in breast milk, your baby's doctor may recommend Enfamil D-Vi-Sol drops.

Founded over 100 years ago by Edward Mead Johnson, one of the original founders of Johnson and Johnson, the Mead Johnson company produces more than 70 different products that are distributed in over 50 countries worldwide. Mead Johnson produces baby formula, vitamin and specialty nutritional supplements including Enfamil. Introduced in 1959, Enfamil baby formula has undergone several significant changes since it was invented. Each change brings Enfamil baby formula nutritionally closer to breast milk.

Edward Mead founded Mead Johnson because he wanted to make products to help people live healthier lives. After much research, Edward Mead and his son Lambert discovered a way to manufacture nutrient-rich baby food formula for infants who didnt have access to breast milk. This eventually became Enfamil baby formula.

Mead Johnson's global operations center and U.S. regional office is located in Evansville, Indiana.

Great Product! My daughter's pediatrician suggested this since I am exclusively breast feeding her. I have been giving it to her since she was 1 week old, and I have absolutely no complaints. She loves the taste, and it doesn't stain. Would definitely recommend if you are exclusively breast feeding.

I got this from my pharmacy to use on my newborn who is exclusively breastfeeding. To my horror upon reading the ingredient list I found this product to be loaded with artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. Caramel color that contains 4MEI (a carcinogen) was put in a product for an infant????!?!? Shame on you Enfamil. I'm glad I have a Food Science degree and knew better than give this to my child - but I am upset that you would even offer a product with those types of UNNECESSARY ingredients for infants to families who may not know better. SHAME ON YOU! I just ordered another product from your competitor which contain only vitamin d - no other unnecessary ingredients. I will not be buying any of your products because I have no faith in you making safe quality products after seeing this.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin Drops 50 ml:

Will never recommend this to anyone. It's going to be very useful if you do a study on why it's causing tummy problems for babies and provide some instruction. Also list this as the side effect on the instruction, as it takes us many weeks to figure out that it's this thing causing our baby to have all those problems. Our experience with Dvisol couldn't be worse.

Absolutely awful - smells like cough syrup and a serving is a huge amount. Those minor cons aside, it caused my child to projectile vomit her entire feed within a minute of consuming the single dose. So dissappointed and threw the product away.

The flavor is just awful. My daughter could not keep it down ever. So I tasted it myself and it went right in the trash. There are alternatives that cost way less, have no flavor and you only need one drop (bottle, pacifier, etc.)

Do not use this product! Caused my baby to be restless and fussy and she isn't a fussy baby. It caused her to be constipated and gassy. It has so many ingredients in it that are unnecessary for a baby. Very very disappointed!

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin Drops 50 ml:

My son has a kidney disease and as a result lacks vitamin D. This product is literally a life saver for my child. His health heavily relies on this product. I just wish it wasn't so expensive for us to keep up on. He is required to take 800 units a day which can add up! We go through at least 4 bottles a month typically! But it's worth it to keep his health stable.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin Drops 50 ml:

I find the syringe easy to use and like it much better than oil drops. Our problem is it causes restlessness in the baby and he's very unsettled. It took me 3 days of giving it to my son to realize that his restlessness is caused by switching to these drops. I will not be giving these to him again.
