                My daughter has had a "My First Dolly" since birth and she is now almost 2. The doll is reasonably durable although the straps on her dress seem to come loose after multiple trips through the washing machine but they dont seem to pose any danger, it just doesnt look as nice. We keep 3 around so we can wash one and she still has one to sleep w/ and one for naps at daycare. We have to wash them weekly as my daughter likes to chew the hands and they get filthy.

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                I bought this doll today hoping that it would entice smiles from my 3 month old. So far it has done the job and exceeded my hopes. It is cute and soft and most important, washable. I put it in with her laundry on the delicate cycle and then dried it and the results were great. It is now clean and smells like her stuff. This doll is exactly what I wanted and seems to be what what she wanted too.

                  my daughter will not put this baby doll down. it's perfect for a first baby. it's soft, sweet and washable. it's lightweight so a little one can carry it and it doesn't have any hard faces, hands, feet etc to make your child uncomfortable while sleeping or playing with it. i have two of them, one for backup while one is being cleaned. going to get another as they are so perfect.
