      A friend bought the larger version of this blue hippo(I would say its about 25") for my son for his 1st birthday and he LOVED IT! We recently had to throw it away because it had been through so much. So we got him the little one instead. I really wish I could find the larger hippo he had before. He really did love it....

        Received as shower gift. Had planned to have baby
        adopt as a lovey. Very soft and plush. First brush with disaster was about a week ago when our dogs somehow discovered it and ripped a hole in the seam along the bag. I simply safety pinned it back together and tossed it in the washer and dryer with plans to stitch it back up later, it came through the process great. Unfortunately tonight they somehow found it again (thought it was safe) and I came back in from the front porch to find it ripped wide open, head nearly detached and all the stuffing all over my family room floor!!! So grateful to see I can still buy it! Plan on buying multiple with plan to put up the extras to have as "backups"!!!

              My son was given dozens of stuffed animals from the time he was a newborn, but he chose this "PO" (as he calls it) as his favorite. He's gone through probably 7 different hippos because he sleeps, eats, plays, everything with them and I have to wash them all the time. He's be devastated if they stopped existing! They're so soft and snuggly!! :)

                Bought this hippo in pink for my granddaughter to compliment her Jacana bedding set. It is absolutely adorable, soft, cuddly... couldn't ask for more. I also bought a very similar looking giraffe... they are SO CUTE together! I feel confident these will be "cuddle pals" as she gets older. (Currently only 1 week old!)Definitely would buy them again and as a gift for others. Great value for the price!!

                  For our daughter's first birthday we brought her to Toys R Us to pick out a birthday present. Well she picked Blue Hippo as her present. She sleeps with him, hugs and kisses him, and when she isn't feeling good she snuggles him. He is her #1 friend.

                  Blue (as we call him) is very easy to keep clean. He washes in the washer and dries on low heat in the dryer. We have washed him 3 times in 2 months and every time he comes out of the dryer he looks like he did the day we brought him home.

                  I only wish we could buy more online instead of having to hunt him down at stores. Because of our daughter's love of Blue we want to have a couple of back ups just in case something happens to the one we have now.
