very Frustrating project

This was a gift, and initially was a fun project. My 5yr old painted it and had a great time. The problem was when we put the stickers on the next day. They stuck initially, but then started peeling off and it now my son is not happy. We had the train project too, same situation... don't bother with these kits if there are stickers to go over the paint, it just does not work.

Don't waste your money!

My 5-year-old son received this item for a Christmas gift. He was really excited to be able to "build" and paint his own race car.

We glued the wheels onto the axles and left it overnight to dry. Then he went to paint it. WARNING: THE PAINT IS NOT WASHABLE!!! The paint would not come off our hands or clothes, even after using stain removal products.

The second problem was the stickers. After painting, we again left the car overnight to dry. The next day, we went to apply the stickers and (surprise, surprise) they would not stick. We ended up using super glue to attach the stickers, which was frustrating to my son because he wasn't able to do the work himself.

All in all, this is a really neat idea, but the product is not worth the step.
