I literally don't have anything negative to say about these brushes...they are perfect for a preschooler using paint for the first time, and great pairing with the paint cups - though we use the paint cups as rinsing cups and use old baby food jars for the paint.

My 3 year old is in a huge painting phase so she was very excited upon receiving these for Christmas. These brushes are HUGE. They are great for little hands because they cannot slip out of their hand as easily when they are full of paint. They paint well and after the brush is washed in water the bristles are still soft and not stiff. The only negative is that because of the size of the handle, they will not fit into the slots on the Step 2 art desks.

Perfect for younger kids the bottom is big so easier to hold on too I guess. My 2 year old loves to paint with these even more when she is not painting she loves to pretend she is with these brushes.
