The Summer Infant Right Height Bath Center is ideal for bathing your growing baby. The design works on a four-stage growth plan that makes bath time more comfortable for you and your baby. With cushioned newborn bath support, your baby stays comfortable during bath time. Next, use the raised infant tub to bring your baby closer to you, causing less stress on your back. The no-slip gripper feet on all pieces prevent the bath from tipping over, while locking tabs on each piece ensure a snug and safe fit between the tub and base, so you can bathe your baby with confidence. The third stage features a large toddler tub that allows you to use the base as a kneeler, making it easier for you to bathe your little one. No Drain. Infant Slides around on insert

The idea behind this tub is great. We do not want to use our tub in the kitchen sink so having a raised tub for the bathtub is great.

But there are a couple of big flaws with this tub.
1. No drain -- thought this wouldn't be a big problem but it is. When put together (tub and base) filled with water, it's heavy. Picking up the baby in one arm and trying to tip to drain the tub with the other is next to impossible.
2. The padding on the infant insert only snaps to the top. When the tub has water in it, the padding piece moves all over the place so the baby moves around too much.

We returned for The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn-to-Toddler Tub.

    As a first time mom, the thought of bathing was terrifying for me personally! My brother used this tub for his son so I took his advice and got it too. It is perfect. I actually used the "chair" in my kitchen sink for her first 2 weeks. She would lay in it as if she was at a spa. It is the perfect height for my bad back. We are now getting ready to transition and get rid of the seat. I was given a regular baby tub and returned it for this one and I am so glad I did. Bath time is no loner terrifying, but a great, fun part of our day.

        This item is not as pictured. I wanted this because it looked like it kept my baby up out of the water on the green seat, but when I opened the box it didn't have that hard plastic seat, it had a fabric/plastic/foam pad insert, which does NOT keep baby out of water. See manufacturer website for updated pic or go to this link: http://www.summerinfant.com/bath-and-potty/bath/tubs/right-height-bath-center-tub. I also added the manufacturer's update picture of the insert below. Regardless it seems like an okay product, and one of the only I could find that is elevated.

          I never write reviews but wanted to let everyone know that the new version of this tub is great! They changed the design of the infant seat- it is no longer hard plastic, does not tilt down (no more sliding baby), and is actually now a sling, which lots of the mom reviewers wanted. Love it!

          If baby can't sit on his/her own I wouldn't recommend this tub. I felt like the support seat put her up too high but without it you either need two people or some talent. I bought a different tub for my cousin and wish I had gone with the one I bought her!

          The infant support seat is a bit shaky & I don't feel that my infant feels comforatble in it. She looks like she may slide off the seat..though this has not happened. The rubber on the bottom of the infant supporter is not very good & it doesn't keep it in place, the weight of the baby keeps the seat in place. I am going to try & buy a mesh seat to place inside the tub....hopefully that will help.

              I really love this tub! I have been using this tub with my baby girl for 15 months now. It is really a back saver, and she loves it! I like that when your baby is bigger, he/she can still fit nicely in this tub and is still elevated. You also save on water because you dont have to fill your entire tubwith water. We actually still use the infant seat for washing her and then remove it when she's ready to play. It does have a drain, and it works well. You can also wash the infant seat pad which I really like!

                I bought this for my baby boy. It has a knob-type thing that's supposed to help keep the baby from slipping out. Well, for girls it may be fine but it catches my baby boy right in his crotch. He doesn't act like it hurts but we can stand the thoughts of it pushing into his "pee-pee". Don't buy if u have a boy!!!!

                  This is a great tub for babies. I've been using this for my son since his first bath, with the newborn insert. Now he is 8 months old and I put the white tub (with the blue piece under it) in our bathtub. Since I have a deep tub, this is great to raise him higher for me to reach. The tub does have a drain. I love this tub!

                    We used this product everyday for our daugter's first seven and a half months. First, we only used the green seat with pad in the sink, then we graduated to the green seat with pad in the baby tub, and then into the baby tub by herself. This product was really great beacuse as your baby grows you can use it in different ways. I can't tell you how great and easy it was to use the green seat in the sink those first couple of months! I can't imagine having a different bathing system.
