The crib arrived very quickly, and my husband had no issues putting it together. I love the espresso color and the wood and crib feel sturdy. We noticed 2 pieces of the crib were cracked. I called the Manufacturer Customer service and my call was answered right away. I received the 2 replacement parts within 10 days at no charge. It is nice having the one year warranty with a company that actually answers my call and sent me parts quickly. No baby yet, so we will see how the crib holds up.

It took my husband about an hour and a half to put this crib together. The instructions are not wonderful and the majority of the time he didn't even follow them, but it was pretty easy with a little common sense. All the pieces were included in the box- nothing was missing.

The wood is dark but just as I had expected and is in great condition. It's not black at all.

There is a slight "new wood" smell as mentioned in other reviews but it was almost completely gone this morning. I am nearly 6 months pregnant and the smell was not heavy at all. I sat in the room while he put it together.

I can't attest to anything but the assembled product as we haven't used it yet, but I would definitely recommend this crib. It's gorgeous, sturdy, and perfect for the price.

We turned this into a side car crib at 10 months and is a wonderful addition to our co-sleeping arrangements. We are doing a combo of bed-sharing and the side-car crib and is wonderful for family bonding and breastfeeding.

The most useful idea of this crib is the multiple height adustments to fit the crib mattress accordingly to our family bed. It was very easy to assemble (according to my husband!) and disassemble when we were ready to sidecar.

I was disappointted in the quality of the wood itself. I'm sure all cribs are victims to teething babies but it was easily scratched by any sharp edges and not just baby teeth. Other than that, it is a beautiful color and easily coordinated to many color schemes.

Our baby will be born in 6 weeks so obviously I can't say too much about its functionality. I did a lot of research on crib before making this purchase. Overall style & reviews about its quality made me choose this one. I thought this crib was true to color & looks beautiful in our nursery. I will say the crib had a fairly strong aroma (probably the finish) when we first got it but I have been running the ceiling fan & even hung a cupcake scented air freshener in the room & now it smells fine. If you consider that most of our parents were brought home in cars without child seats or safety belts & slept in cribs w/ adjustable siderails (probably face down) & lived to tell about it I am sure that this crib will be more than adequate to serve its purpose.

This crib is great for several reasons:

It's very solid, I love that it grows with your child, and it looks beautiful too.

The reason it only gets 4 starts from our household, is twofold:

The front rail is too low - our son climbed out of this crib at only 14 months of age. The design should be altered to allow the mattress to be dropped lower, or the front rail should be higher.

The second drawback is the little rail when the crib is converted to a toddler bed - it is not nearly long enough to keep the toddler from falling out of the bed, and we've had to place a second mattress under the bed to absorb his falls. There should a either 2 rails, or a longer one.

very sturdy and it looks good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was not easy to put it together. the instructions not very clear. the wood is not bad for the price. after all its good product.

[...] I got this in black [...]But i love it. Looks very beautiful and more expensive than it was. The price was [$]. I thought i would have an issue without the dropside, as i'm not even 5 ft tall. Right now it's on the highest position (will deffinately not have a problem reaching baby), but before that i had it on the second lowest position and was still able to reach down. So short mommas will not have a problem. Although, you can see the tan metal holding up the mattress platform even with a bedskirt, i thought i put it on upside down but seen a photo and that's how it's supposed to be. Very sturdy. Baby won't be here till september. Can't wait to put him in it. Oh and i put it together by myself at 6 months pregnant. Very easy.
