These create 0 gas...our baby has burped maybe 4 times in 3 weeks. The secret to the leaking problem is to TAKE THE BLUE THING OUT WHEN HEATING. The change in temperature creates a vacuum that pushes the milk into the blue thing and out the vents at the top of the blue thing.

My 6 weeks old boy loves drinking from Dr. Brown's bottles. I am breastfeeding but when I am in public I like feeding him my pumped milk from the bottle. We haven't had any problem with nipple confusion and his burping after feeding is minimal. However the only think that I don't like about this bottles is that they LEAK all over, even if I put the disk( the part that should protect from leaking). They also leak in the bottle warmer. I have to say that this is true ONLY for 4 oz WIDE NECK bottles. I also have couple of standard Dr. Brown's bottles and I haven't experienced any leakage with them.

This bottle is for 9 mo and up but it seems that the y cut opening on the nipple seems to be too big for formula but not quite big enough for cereal.

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr. Brown's 2-Pack BPA Free Bottles - 4 oz:

I breast feed and use these bottles. I HIGHLY recommend these bottles particularly if you you breast and bottle feed like we do. The slow flow wide base (nipple part) bottles are the best for this. I also LOVE that this bottle produces NO air bubbles during the feeding due to the design of the incert. Cleaning is very easy although there are more parts than the traditional bottle. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. I would recommend a design change to the ounces line. It can be difficult to see because its clear like the bottle. This is especially hard when your sleep deprived. Maybe a different color lines, maybe the same blue as the incert.

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr. Brown's 2-Pack BPA Free Bottles - 4 oz:

This bottle with the wide neck is a way better choice. With the wider tops it is much easier to make the bottles plus this is why my daughter learned to hold her own bottle. With the I dentil s on the sides she knows just where to put he r hands.

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr. Brown's 2-Pack BPA Free Bottles - 4 oz:

We use these bottles for supplementing our breastfed baby. Our lactation consultant recommended them so the little one would not develop a preference for the bottle. After weeks of use, our breastfeeding relationship is going strong and we are able to supplement him enough to keep him growing on target after a lip and tongue tie revision.

I bought these after my breastfed baby screamed through other brands. She would get very gassy from other bottles. But Dr. Brown's don't make her gassy and she takes the bottle with ease. Great purchase!

We used these bottles with our 2 month old. He struggled to get milk from the nipple. He seemed to play with the nipple, versus drink from from it. When he did actually drink from it, I didn't notice any difference between the amount of gas he had to get up. We will stick with the original Dr. Brown bottles.
