My newborn loves these bottles. He had a hard time nursing while at the hospital but once we got home and started using the Dr. Brown's wide neck bottles he eats great!! The nipple is easy for him to latch onto.

My daughter was breastfed so she liked the wider nipple, but the tommee tippee bottles were horrible so I had to find something different. She had bad gas as well so I was looking for a bottle that would have less air. These bottles are the absolute best! There is ZERO gas and she latched on perfectly! I have not one complaint about them AT ALL! Could not be better! I will never use another bottle for any of my future children! The one and only thing is they take longer to wash because of the extra parts but if they help your baby have less gas a few extra minutes washing is nothing.

We used Dr. Brown's wide bottles with our first child after using a different brand in the beginning and were happy with them. Now with our second we decided to buy the 4 oz bottles to start him off with the Dr. Brown bottles and we are NOT happy with them. The oz markings are clear so near impossible to see when filling or feeding. Several have leaked from the cap, and the nipple is so flimsy we can't get it in his mouth many times. Our old 8 oz bottles from our other child (which aren't even 2 years old yet) have gotten discolored from use and storage. I e-mailed the company and they say it is from the iron in the formula and didn't offer any replacement or discount to buy new ones. If they know iron does this to the bottles then they need to fix their plastic so it doesn't turn orange! We will be buying new bottles as soon as we switch to the bigger size and it WON'T be Dr. Brown's bottles for sure.

We use Dr. Browns bottles to feed our 4 month old, who is strictly bottle fed, but these are no good. The nipple on the wide bottles is a lot longer than on the regular width Dr. Browns bottles. It's also very wide at the top and my daughter can't get her mouth on it. I've tried to feed her with these bottles a few times and I end up just transferring the milk into the normal width bottles. I love Dr. Browns bottles, just not these.

These create 0 gas...our baby has burped maybe 4 times in 3 weeks. The secret to the leaking problem is to TAKE THE BLUE THING OUT WHEN HEATING. The change in temperature creates a vacuum that pushes the milk into the blue thing and out the vents at the top of the blue thing.

Dr. Brown's bottled were recommended by a friend before I had my first child. I purchased them then and have continued to buy Dr. Brown's for each of my children. We are looking forward to our 3rd child arriving soon and know I can count on Dr. Brown's.

After reading all the reviews i still had a funny feeling about these, but decided to give them a chance. I could actually hear my baby swallow air! And then you can imagine all the crying and fussing and trying to burp all that air out of her. Just wanted to give her pumped milk before bed and ruined our evening... Don't be surprised if it doesn't work for you, don't buy too many till you know for sure.

the bottles are great for gas. i had a few leaking problem but i figured out how to change that. first don't leave the disk in while heating, it creates too much pressure in the straw, if you open the lid you can see the formula go back down. second if the two inserts are not together properly it will leak also. if my son drops the bottle sometimes the 2 pieces will shift and leak. the bottles really are great you just have understand how to use them properly. using the dishwasher basket is great too!

Originally bought medela 5 oz. Bottles with slow flow nipples and my son gulped so much air with them that we decided to switch. We bought the DR. Browns bottles and noticed an immediate difference. He swallows far less air now. No more huge spit ups and far less burping is needed. Only drawback are all the pieces and I'm pretty sure that these bottles can't be used with a microwave steam sterilizer. The instructions say top rack dishwasher only and not to exceed 140 degree temp. Pretty sure a sterilizer exceeds that, so you're stuck hand washing or waiting on a dishwasher.
