When I first bought these it was to use in the car near my then 1 year old son's rear facing car seat. He's eight now, and I'm a child passenger safety technician - those people who check your car seat (if you haven't done it - do! Over 80% are installed/used wrong). Anyway, all the reviews above that had bad luck? To be blunt without intetion of spite - um, they weren't doing it right. :blushes: It's like any static cling thing, it's not sticky like a sticker. It works with static. So on a cold, dry day, these aren't going to go on your dirty windows very well. Clean the window, leave it damp, even spray the sunshade a bit, and it will go right on. Rub air bubbles out with the straight edge of something (pros would use a squeegee, a credit card will suffice). There. done. Mine stayed for years until I removed them, with no damage done to my windows. And all the ones I've installed for other people stayed, and didn't have tons of air bubbles. These shades are perfect, cheap, and safe. The ones with the suction cups? Yep, dangerous in the car. I wish other people would stop recommending those things. Basically before you put something around your child's car seat, bonk yourself on the head with it. If it HURTS don't use it! I realize that sounds stupid, but in an accident, that sunshade with the suction cups that falls down at all the stoplights will go flying at your kid and it's going to cause damage. It also has lots of little parts a kid could get in their hands and therefore their mouths to choke on. Really, you're better off with these, I promise!

I placed these on my back window of my car. My windows are already tinted, but placing this on top of the tiny helped with the brightness even more :)

We came in looking for a sunshade expecting to find the pull down shade but we came across this product for a fraction of the price. It does its job wonderfully!! It was very easy to put up and very easy to take down. We are even still able to roll the windows down with this product. The only draw back is that if anyone besides the baby sits in the back seat and looks out the window it seems blurry looking through the shade. Who really sits back there besides that baby anyways. I would buy it again if I needed to! This is a great product for the money!
Would buy this product again.

Easy to install, protects great against sun. Helps baby stay cool.
Great Idea but Disappointing Performance
About Me Working Parent
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the sun shades and a uv blocker that I could more easily see through; these looked promising. After cleaning the window and using a squeegee to get all the bubbles out, I was quite pleased with my labor and the product. Especially the fact that if I accidentally rolled the window down, I would not damage the product and could reapply if needed. So the next day the edges started curling in; so I cleaned the window again this time with alcohol and reapplied. Within hours the film started curling in again. I reapplied and used a little heat gun to make it stick a little better, and the next day the edges started curling in again. At that point I gave up and bought a Hello Kitty sunscreen.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Exactly what I needed!

Helps block the sun out of my cuties face so he can enjoy the car ride even more now!
Like it a lot!
It slows down my windows a little when I put them down, but very effective in not allowing the sun in. I like these better than the shades that suction to your window as I always forgot those were there and would break them when I attempted to put the window down!
Good product if you don't want to spend too much

Big enough to fit the whole window and you could always cut it smaller if you need to. I prefer the shade clings because its more sturdy and you could pull them up.
