I loved this product at first. It was so easy to install and use one handed which is great. The only downfall was the little plastic piece that locks it place broke about 2 weeks after installation. Such a bummer. If they improved this I would buy it again. Until then, find something else.

Easy to install. Able to easily disengage when not needed. Also used on metal trash cans to lock. Plastic is of medium quality so may break over time or with force. But good product for the price

This lock is better than others that we have tried because it latches automatically (no more forgetting to look the fridge), adults can still open the refridgerator door with one hand, and it lasted through several months of my 1 year old and (very strong and determined) 2.5 year old pulling on it.

It now needs to be replaced, because the part of the latch that you push to open no longer stays attached to the sticky layer that holds it on the fridge door.

Easy to attach to fridge, but it's plastic bd broke the first day we had it on.

love this product. Have no children, bought it because my freezer door opened every time I closed the refrigerator door. Works great.

Safety First makes poor products! These straps were the second childproof contraptions I purchased by this brand and they sucked. I put them on and the next day my 1 year old son pulled it off like it was nothing. Don't waste your money.

Used to keep freezer and fridge closed. This has saved us from having to defrost the freezer and get rid of everything inside a couple of times. It prevents the door from bouncing back open when it gets slammed.

i got two of these and both broke. we put one on our mini fridge and he managed to rip off the part goes on the fridge (not on the door) and my mother in law accidentally did the same. it needs to be stronger other wise it would work great

First off ive owned and used this lock for 7mons now. I love this little lock I've tried three or four different locks before this one. None of them even come close to this one. Im very glad that i didnt listen to the negitive reviews posted on here. I wont lie though it did take some time to talk myself into trying it. My 5y/o can open the fridge but it still keeps my 2y/o out. Along with the many babies/toddlers that come over and that i babysit quite often. I love that you dont have to "make sure" theyre locked. The little click that it makes lets you know its locked! I have told all of my friends about why they should get these locks.... kinda wished theyd come out with one to work with my dishwasher/ stove.

Great product! Super easy to install and very sturdy grip. Also easy to open with on hand. Would highly recommend this product.
