Our 5 yr old daughter got this as her 1st wii game and loves it. She was able to learn all the controls within her 1st 30 mins of play. It's a rather easy game when using the tips provided on screen.

When I saw some of the reviews I decided not to get this game, thinking it would be too difficult for her since she's just 2 and hadn't played any Wii games before. But lucky for me, someone bought it for her as a gift. The first day she had a little trouble figuring it out, but enjoyed it enough to cry when it was time to stop. By the second day she was able to play it by herself and shortly thereafter, she mastered all the motions. Now, she loves it and I'm just as happy having one more thing to "threaten" her with to make sure she eats her vegetables! No vegetables, No Dora game!!

I bought this for my first Wii game for my daughter. She just turned 3, granted she has never used the Wii before but she is very smart for her age and she will try for hours and cannot seem to understand how to make it work. She can climb the latters but some of the ways they have you move the remote for example holding it between both hands the long way and tilting it right or left for Dora to walk. Instead my daughter flips it completely over so her hands are crossed. She gets the jumping buttons. It almost would have been better for her if they used the "toggle" arrow up/down button to have Dora walk right or left. She has lots of trouble jumping and the first level seems to go on forever and ever and ever. We still haven't got to the second part of the game yet she just keeps walking and walking. Yet a week later I give my daughter the Leap Pad and she can trace letters and take care of a virtual puppy and take pictures and photoshop them but can't seem to get this game to work for her. I think its frusterating the silly ways they have the kids move the entire remote. Its just dumb. A dudd. I am going to purchase the Jump Start Pet Rescue next that has all good reviews.

This game is great , even the little one's(3-4 yr old) can play this . It's easy to understand and the motions are fun and not at all difficult to perform.

Both my 6 year old and my 4 year old like to play this game. It is very user friendly and they can play without parental help. Bright colors and nice graphics. It is a hit at my house.
