We gave to our 19 mo old grandson for Easter because he always wants to vacuum. He absolutely loves this vacuum!! He vacuumed the house, the yard, and the driveway and it actually picks up some things. He even carried it while we played bocce ball! A real hit! The on/off button was easy for him to use. The sound is quiet, but just enough for him to think he's really vacuuming. Hopefully, it will hold up until the phase moves on.

GREAT FOR A YOUNG TODDLER. THE LITTLE DUST BUSTER IS THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES THE SOUNDS WITH A BATTERY. THE VAC IS SOLID ON THE BOTTOM. LITTLE FINGERS CAN'T GET INTO ANY TROUBLE

My granddaughter is 21/2... She was using everything and anything to "vacuum" the floor.. So I bought her this one. She LOVES it! It works GREAT! And it's not TOO noisy! It's a HIT!!!

The hand vac is very poorly made. The dust container does not hold in place. It falls off so we had to use the duct tape to hold it in place.
You'd expect a product for todlers to be durable and yet this one fell apart even before my son touched it.
Other than that it works fine. My 20-month-old son loves playing with this vac.
I wish there was an auto switch off, but it's just a minor inconvenience.
If it weren't for the dust container I'd give it 5 stars.

My granddaughter has been using her brothers guns as vacuums so for her to get her own real vacuum was wonderful. It stands up to many hours of vacuuming, pounding into furniture and feet. I like that it has real sounds and it actually picks things up. It is great that it has the mini vacuum that is detachable for those hard to reach spots. Overall, I enjoy knowing that my granddaughter is enjoying her vacuum.

Our 22 month old grandson had a love/hate relationship with our vacuums. We decided to get him his "own" so that he could clean when Mommy did. Well, once he opened it, he wouldn't stop playing with it. He spent HOURS vacuuming, turning it on and off, showing ALL of his stuffed animals the "vroom" and basically driving us crazy! It's well made, easy to push (we showed him how to keep the wheels up as it moved faster that way!) and the "motor" sound is pretty authentic and not TOO loud! It was definitely worth the price for us.

[...]. My 16 month old grandson happened to be here when it arrived. He immediately proceeded to vaccuum my house. The vaccuum is sturdy and very managable for him. He loved the twirling beads and brings it with him wherever he goes.It makes a quiet noise so it isn't irritating for mom.I would recommend this toy.

My son had a gift card to Toys R Us and this is what he picked. He hasn't put it down yet. I do think it's a bit pricey for what it is, but he's happy, so I'm happpy and it seems durable. I like that he can take the hand sweeper and attachment on/off without help. He loves the little beads that fly around and the noise that it makes. To the Mom of twin boys who wrote that the handle doesn't adjust and the sweeper sticks up in the air -- you have to press down on the bottom of the sweeper with your foot and it goes down (just like a real sweeper). Also, it actually does pick up tiny bits of fuzz, etc.

My 21 month old son received this from his grandmother for Christmas. He wants to use my vacuum when I get it out and so far he seems excited to have one his own size. He can turn it on and off himself, although he usually turns it on and leaves it on even when he's done pushing it around. He likes the hand vac too. I, however, have not had my vacuum out yet to see if his mini vacuum distracts him from the big vacuum. It does make noise and does actually pick up dirt so you have to clean it out every so often. I'd recommend it so far, we'll see how long it lasts though.

this sweeper is not that great. we were really disappointed that the handle stays in the exact same place and if you want to try and actually sweep, the sweeper part will be up in the air. it is silly. also, the sweeper itself does not make any noise, but the hand-held sweeper does. it looks nice in a box, but doesn't live up to my expectations.
