      My mom bought this bed for my 2 year old son. My husband put it together and had issues with the wood in the center (the part that holds the mattress) some if the pieces were not the same size. The storage drawer was so cheap that it broke. The bed part was finally put together with one on the pieces of wood missing and it works fine.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      This bed is for my 23 month old son who quickly outgrew his crib. We had a convertible crib but it did not have a partial rail to help keep him from falling out. This bed had that. Also, the storage drawer underneath is so helpful! We keep his linen for his bed there. The wood is not very thick but I think it will serve it's purpose.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
