A Worthy Sized Set

By 1kol9086

Comments about LEGO Hero Factory Tunneler Beast vs. Surge (44024):

Rocka's machine shows off exactly what Hero Factory can do. For such a small size, it has a large amount of articulation and it really shows off the versatility of the system. The set is a little pricy, but for kids on a budjet, get it. The cocoon is also amazing, and it is a good set for kids just starting out. I like it. A worthy little set.

Comments about LEGO Hero Factory Tunneler Beast vs. Surge (44024):

back with another review, This is my first hero factory set. Rocka is a cool figure and is a lot like a star wars droid. The jumper is cool it bounces and this version is exclusive. The breeding nest is the best part and it looks like a venus fly trap. The mech has that cool new gun. It has full articulation. It has chain saw arms. Now onto the final verdict. overall I give this set a B+

Cool! But why Rocka?

Comments about LEGO Hero Factory Tunneler Beast vs. Surge (44024):

Hello and welcome to another one of my reviews! You will be reading the Rocka crawler machine. Don't get me wrong, I like Rocka. But did he really have to get another machine? Lego, PLEASE bring back Nex and Stringer. We haven't seen them in 2 years! This could have been Nex's crawler machine! Anyway, all HF fans will be crossing their fingers to the return of the 2 heroes next year. Size: Being the smallest machine in the entire series. It still looks awesome! It stands about 6-7 inches tall. Its barely larger than the cocoon. Not much else to say. 9/10 Weapons: This is the part where you REALLY need to use imagination. Where is the firepower? Why do you need chainsaws to...Crawl? (Don't know how it can crawl.) I guess the 2 lasers on the side shoot. I would have liked this set better if the chainsaws were larger. 6/10 Armor and Articulation: This set is fairly well when it comes to articulation. There are no elbow or knee joints. Armor isn't the best, but still happy that Lego tried to bulk up the machine. 8/10 Playability: The cocoon adds tons of action to the set. I'm glad that it was added. The machine itself is pretty sturdy and tough to break, making the set limitless. 10/10 Overall, I enjoyed this set. It could be bigger, and Rocka could have been replaced with Nex. This could have been a poly bag set. Rocka crawler machine is alright, but not near as impressive as Rocka stealth machine. 7/10 Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more reviews to come!

TUNNELER Beast vs. SURGE Review

Comments about LEGO Hero Factory Tunneler Beast vs. Surge (44024):

This set is a great set for the low price of $9.99. You get 59 pieces. You get Surge, a COM Device, and a click shooter and a Tunneler Beast. This set is very easy to build, so it is a great gift even for younger kids. The set is very poseable, has great articulation, and has a cool snapping jaw function. I highly recommend this set.

Surge vs tunneler beast review

By monkee819

Comments about LEGO Hero Factory Tunneler Beast vs. Surge (44024):

YES finally yes. I have been waiting for ever for a surge minifigure like all they others. He does not disappoint great mold and i like the lighter shade of grey on his armor, the blue looks really good and looks really well with his orange head color. the one complaint i have is his head it is not very similar to the original mold on the regular size figure but, its a great helmet just different. The tunneler beast looks really good i like the head on all the hero factory monsters and it opens and closes well. The four arms or more usually looks well but bend weirdly and don't stay up but it works well here it stands on its own and has good play features. I didn't originally like the new guns that shoot out studs but I love them now, the look has grown on me and it shoots easily and far. Overall very good set worth the money definitely pick it up. I will be getting the new lego x-men set so look for that review and i plan on picking up more of these hero factory sets
