First of all the material this is made of is way too rough. Secondly they are just too small and too tight for even my slim baby. The colors are also very unpleasant - I ordered mine online so I could not see the actual color -it's a disappointment. I would not buy this product ever again.

These definitely get the job done. They are tight but I cant imagine them working if they werent, it doesnt seem to bother my baby. My baby can definitely get around without hurting her knees with these on. I think padding would make it too difficult for a baby to actually move. These cover the knees just enough to protec them but not interfere with crawling. Worth [$]

Thought the knee protectors were a good idea for our baby when crawling on tile or wood floors. However, there was no padding like you'd expect from "knee protectors." They were very tight on son's legs, since he's a big baby. I also felt they weren't safe since they caused him to slip/slide around on these hard surfaces.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
